What if instead of Powerless, we got an Office-style show about DC's writers?
>>83444771
>writers are sitting around a table presenting their ideas for their next story arc
>Tom starts out "So, I had this one experience based on something that happened back in the CIA."
>tenses up, has the thousand yard stare
>they continue the meeting, leaving Tom to his PTSD
>come back in the morning to him still there
>>83444771
>the episode where they send Grant Morrison to deal with Alan Moore harassing people in the parking lot
>[mumbled Scottish profanities]
Is this the best Green Lantern story?
>>83444406
The art is great, but the writing less so.
No
It's the bestMartian Manhunterstory though
The movie did Hal's arc better, so no. Pic is the best Green Lantern story.
Being Rated R, do you think they will do everything in the comics correctly?
>>83443953
they already showed they aren't going for the original, surreal colors so no
it's gonna be too grounded and come across as absurdly silly
>>83443953
contentwise, maybe.
visualwise, we already know it looks like shit
rating doesnt particularly matter. DKR had some pretty accurate content and it was PG-13
although to be fair the source itself wasnt too heavy on disturbing imagery, while KJ has a fair bit
>>83444008
>>83444011
Even if the film isn't going to be adapted to the original art style, I mean it is at least Young Justice style, which doesn't suck, we have Mark and Kevin back in it, which I would think counts for something. Maybe they will do something good? I figure, it's rated R which gives them more freedom.
This guy pretty muched summed up the biggest reason why I think Civil War 2 is shit and makes no sense

Listen, i really don't want to hate Bendis' work. I usually go in with an open mind and try to enjoy myself but he really has made it hard for me this past couple of years. I enjoyed Ultimate Spider-Man, Disassembled, New Avengers and I think the Dark Avengers run was the last time i enjoyed something of his.
Civil War II, from reading issue #0, Comic Book Day Issue and #1 seems to be his shittiest work yet.
I honestly think Marvel as a whole needs fresh blood and a new direction; Bendis' style doesn't cut it anymore.

You probably should've put a short list of what he said in the thread

>c Book Day Issue and #1 seems to be his shittiest work yet.
Did you read his X-men?
Late to the party, but I just finished Superjail. What did you think, /co/?
>>83443590
It was superjunk for superjerks.
It is amazing to watch. Its focus is on the visual aspect though so the stories can be bland and preachy
>>83443590
quite entertaining
Like the title says.
What was the best couch gag, and why was it this one?

Personal favourite 2bh, mostly because of Ultraman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5vuzfdmsDo
What if one of the big 2 wrote an event where its major characters got caught up in some magic spell and all got gender swapped.they know the change took place, but have to ride it out until it is reversed.
Would it be a good read, How would it play out, what would change

Best seller right here.
>>83443035
Or DC could just write an Earth 11 book.
>>83443035
Would be interesting .
Now would the male character stay attracted to females or would they start to like men?
http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2016/06/03/devin_faraci_paints_fan_culture_as_out_of_control_and_entitled_but_is_it.html
The response to Faraci's article is now worse than his original article.
>At Comic-Con, fans aren’t just consumers: They’re sharholders, actively courted by the likes of J.J. Abrams and Zack Snyder. Logos, costumes, and long-range plans are rolled out for their approval. When a Hollywood studio puts its money behind the latest iteration of Superman or Captain America, they’re not just paying for a familiar character. They’re buying into decades, even generations, of fan involvement. But that deep-seated attachment, so difficult to create from scratch, comes with a catch. Please the fans, and you’ve got an army of unpaid promoters on your side. Anger them, and you’re all but sunk.

How long until we round up all fans and put them in camps?Fat Camps
I want to punch Devin Faraci in the face until he cries blood.
>audiences are stupid and bad
Did they even earn their reputation as some of the best masters in China? They lose to pretty much everybody who fights them.
They destroyed Tai Lung before he used his hard counter. Hell, Tigress basically went toe-to-toe with him before that.
>>83442717
That's how jobbing works.
Who is Worf?
Jubilee and Betsy had to demand costumes for apocalypse.
>>83442497
Yet they cut her scenes anyway
Dammit Singer
>>83442546
She said she hopes fan demand gives her a bigger part in the next film like how everyone wanted more Evan peters. She also said if a TV or next flix series gets made she would be 100% down to play Jubilee on TV
Not sure if she gets the character though. She wants in the film enough to see if she had a grip like storm did in that one scene or how the kids who played Scott and Kurt had the body language down. She also thinks Jubilee is smart

Mall cut when?
WE PUNISHER NOW
>ARROW is casting a new vigilante for season 5. The character is described as a "cocksure and reckless ex-Marine" whose brutality causes tensions with the Green Arrow.
>The show is also casting their main villain, described as a "A man of wealth on a mission, out to avenge a tragic loss from years earlier. He can just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy — and you never know which one is coming. Either way, he’s more than capable of having a good time as he does it."

Ultimate Marvel Storytime
>What's being storytimed?
Ultimate Marvel, later known as Ultimate Comics, was an imprint of comic books published by Marvel Comics, featuring re-imagined and updated versions of the company's superhero characters from the Ultimate Universe. The imprint was launched in 2000 with the publication of the series Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate X-Men, providing new original stories for the characters. The Marvel Multiverse, which comprises an infinite number of galaxies and alternate universes, calls this universe Earth-1610.
>Why are you doing this?
Because there's a lot of good stuff that people ignored that deserves recognition and even the bad stuff can be fun.
>Why this order?
I originally planned on doing USM to Death of Spider-Man, but I want to do the rest now. I've separated things into groups for convenience.
>Where can I catch up?

Not deep enough.
