This is my Superman. RIP in peace
>>83441768
you fucking cucks literally killed superman with your whining. let that sink in.
I like Superman, regardless of whether it's pre/post Flashpoint, pre/post Crisis, or whatever. Though there will always be a softer spot for Grant Morrison's Action Comics Superman

>cucks
stop that
Rate the ongoings you read:
Old Man Logan: 8.5/10
Scarlet Witch: 6/10
Uncanny Avengers: 6.5/10
All-New, All Different Avengers: 3/10
Astonishing Ant-Man:6/10
Black Panther: 3.5/10
Vision: 6/10
Captain America - Sam Wilson:4/10
Carnage: 7/10
Venom Space Knight: 5/10
Darth Vader: 8/10
Swamp Thing: 7.5/10
(all of the current X-men ongoing titles): 5/10
(Would do more DC titles but most of them have restarted because of Rebirth and there's not enough out yet to make an accurate rating)
I've dropped a ton/had a ton cancelled over the last 6 months, but here we go:
Batman: 5/10 (end of Snyder's run. Jury is out on King so far)
Transformers: 7.5/10
Transformers: MTMTE: 8.5/10
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: 9/10
Ghostbusters International: 8/10
Autumnlands: 6.5/10
Descender: 5/10
Saga: 2/10 (I wish I could drop this, but I always hope the next issue will be better)
Sonic The Hedgehog: autism/10
Big Trouble in Little China: Jack Burton/10
I used to have a ton more indieshit on my list, but the problem with almost all of them was an interesting premise that quickly started going nowhere after a year. I think more indie writers need to be restricted to a mini/maxi series format so they actually accomplish something instead of just full ongoings that lose their steam after the first arc.
>>83441570
>Astonishing Ant-Man:6/10
This is the one by Spencer, right? How is it compared to his first 6 issues, before Marvel re-numbered it? I dropped it to save money, and also because Spencer was doing that "let's fling shit at DC" on his twitter.
>>83441773
It was somewhat good in the first few issues, but lately it hasn't been doing it for me
Probably on par with his first 6 issues, also funnier at the start, but as of late there's been a decline in quality.
>>83441967
>but as of late there's been a decline in quality.
This is the problem with everything. The only book that I'm reading that has been consistent or actually increased in quality is Ninja Turtles, which is impressive considering they're on the verge of 60 issues.
Has anyone else noticed that the social commentary aspect of X-men has largely been absent from the last two films? Does it worry /co/ that this trend might continue?
>>83441417
From the ending for Apocalpyse, I think it will be back
>>83441417
I wouldn't call it "downplayed" so much as a more nuanced and realistic look at how civil rights isn't a fucking shitshow that stands still every decade, shit does gradually get better.
Morrison's run had a similar take and it was a lot fucking better than the "constantly on the cusp of extinction, Magneto was right, the dream is dead" bullshit the comics have been forcing on us since House of M.
>>83441417
>mutant and proud
>hides her true appearence 95% throughout the movie.
This man was correct
Oh my god! Maker's newest diabolical scheme, posting a 5kb image so nobody but himself can read it!
>>83441070
After rereading Hickultimates I have to say The Maker was an intolerable asshole. Honestly I wish Hickman would have just set up for a war between his City and Tian. That would have been rad as shit.
>>83441070
This man was a bitch.
A new episode was released yesterday. Nobody cares - neither do I, really - but it is what it is. I'm not sure how many people on here have even watched an episode. As I've said many times before, the main reason I want to like this show is because I like the concept of ignoring both traditional television and digital subscription services. Making a full length animated series and putting it on YouTube appeals to me. It's unfortunate that this is the end result.

Don't do this to yourself man.
>>83440690
It's an adaptation of some mobile interactive shit.
>>83442833
It's made by the same people.
They steal the show
>>83440667
Well, they're thieves.
>>83440667
Can you ever truly steal what was always yours?
>>83440667
I'm pretty sure there are only two outcomes to their inclusion,
absolute show stealers,
or nails in the coffin

Ultimate Marvel Storytime
>What's being storytimed?
Ultimate Marvel, later known as Ultimate Comics, was an imprint of comic books published by Marvel Comics, featuring re-imagined and updated versions of the company's superhero characters from the Ultimate Universe. The imprint was launched in 2000 with the publication of the series Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate X-Men, providing new original stories for the characters. The Marvel Multiverse, which comprises an infinite number of galaxies and alternate universes, calls this universe Earth-1610.
>Why are you doing this?
Because there's a lot of good stuff that people ignored that deserves recognition and even the bad stuff can be fun.
>Why this order?
I originally planned on doing USM to Death of Spider-Man, but I want to do the rest now. I've separated things into groups for convenience.

The fact that you didn't consider Grayson to be one of his best works made me respect you, anon.
>>83440174
I'm not defending Calendar Man by any means (shit villian), but for fucks sake was it necessary? He molts? Since fucking when and how did "world's greatest detective" not ever notice it before? So many fucks on my end.

Also, I'm kinda glad Zack decided to give us some generous Suzy-licious breather before "Le Grand Paranatural Scandale" comes back on again...just make it snappy, Yankee.

http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/joe-quesada-says-marvel-studios-has-the-rights-to-namor
>Quesada has now indicated that Marvel Studios has the rights back for its first mutant, Namor The Sub-Mariner, a character whose film/TV rights Kevin Feige previously called "complicated."
>Appearing on the Fat Man on Batman podcast, interviewer Kevin Smith asked Quesada, "...The same people that own Iron Man, own the Sub-Mariner?"
>Quesada replied, "I can't speak for studios...As far as I know, yeah we do. It’s not at Fox, it’s not at Sony...Yeah."
>As for the possibility of seeing Namor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sometime soon, Quesada said, "I cannot confirm or deny, sir."
>Some reports in the past indicated that Namor's rights were tied-up at Universal, while others suggested he could be owned by Fox, considering the character's Fantastic Four and mutant ties. Regardless, if Quesada is correct, it sounds like he could be appearing alongside the likes of the Avengers sometime soon...
>>83439427
he just fucks anything that moves huh
>>83439515
Well she is a queen, that's good enough for Namor.
>>83439515
He doesn't like redheads
So I just sat down to start watching this it's pretty good so far but did he just pronounce it dark side
It's pronounced seed (not exactly seed but the closest I an explain though text its a hell of a lot closer then side anyway) you fool surely with your vast intellect you could see that
>>83439389
Auctualy on relisining it's not quite as bad as it seemed at first he got the sy part mostly right.
I'm guessing theres a reason he paused before saying the name I'm not really familiar with the characters
Holy shit I love the way they call out all the silliest parts of the comics
Oh fuck it's gotthe legion of superheros
I fucking love this movie sure it has its flaws but so far it has been mostly great
I don't even hate cyborg here (the design on his head is horrible though)
Tell me of the cartoons which your parents prohibited you from viewing.
Father would not allow me to watch Dragonball Z or Ed Edd n' Eddy because they exhibited disrespectful exchanges of brutish banter and exaggerated violence, yet he never had any problems showing me the most gruesome of cult classic horror films.
>>83439371
Beavis and Butt-head and South Park. They would let me watch Celebrity Deathmatch though.
>>83439371
South Park. Though when they found out the show was no longer like the first few seasons, they eased up on it.
Nothing, really. If it was on before bedtime it was fair game.
