Come Along as we go deeper into it.
It is fitting this starts one of these threads because the truly deepest theme in Moore's work overall is the title of this chapter.
>Fights suck
>Forced drama
>Ugly designs
>meme faces
>characters always off model
>Bipolar characters
People just watch it to see new gems and to finally see home world, right?

meme faces are definitely one of my reasons :^)
SU reaction image thread?
Is he right?
Yep.
Of course

/co/ didn't have a problem with it at the time, because /new/ hadn't taken over the asylum the way /pol/ has.

I didn't like Herogasm. Stopped plot for absolutely no reason.
F4 band was fun, though.
According to Kametsu, there is going to be a Gumball bomb at 5pm ET daily in two weeks followed by new episodds every week.
There might even be a Season 5 episode airing (contradicting what has been said about the airdate of the Season thus far).
Monday August 15th:
The Roots
>Nicole is worried that Darwin's not satisfied with being part of the family. The Wattersons try everything to make Darwin feel more at home, but after everything they try fails, they come to the conclusion that it's time to let him go.
Tuesday August 16th:
The Blame
>Gumball lets Billy play videogames for the first time and he faints from excitement. Felicity wants to ban video games from the school as a result of this so Gumball and Darwin try to appeal the ban.
Wednesday August 17th:
The Slap
>Gumball feels left out when Tobias doesn't greet him with his special high five slap.
Thursday August 18th:
The Detective
>Anais believes Gumball and Darwin have stolen Daisy, so she sets out to find them.
Friday August 19th:
The Fury
>The children are amazed when they see their mother insulted by a total stranger, who later turns out to be Masami's mother.
So, is there a real and official reason for changing the design of the eyes of the Wattersons in the middle of the show?

Thursday August 25th:
The Compilation
>A compilation of the funniest and craziest videos the inhabitants of Elmore have uploaded to the Internet.
Thursday September 1st:
The Stories (a Season 5 episode mind you)
>no synopsis known as of yet
Friday Spetember 2nd (for the Netherlands):
The DisasterRob finds a remote that controls the universe and travels back in time to enact revenge on Gumball.

End this suffering
This show is much better than the original. The plot itself was better than any offering airbender had, Zaheer, Lin, etc...so many good characters, the fights are actually fresher and show something new for each bending compared to airbender, and Korra is actually the best protagonist I have seen in a long while.

>Hi guys! Shelby here. With good news and bad(?), maybe! The good news is, I have a job now! I am working for What Pumpkin studios on the Homestuck video game, Hiveswap. It is an awesome job with awesome people and I am so grateful and psyched about it!!
>The bad news, which is also good news for me, is that I no longer am relying on Patreon as my main source of income. As such, I really no longer have time to contribute as much to Patreon along with working on NEOKOSMOS. Now that NK is a side project to my main work, things are going to be slowing down a bit, but that doesn't mean we are stopping! It just means we feel a little bad taking monthly pledges from people when the content is just not consistent enough to warrant it.
Thoughts? I'm kinda bummed cause I wanted to read Neokosmos, but now it seems like the project ain't gonna be finished
But I guess this is good for Hiveswap?
If you just want to make a homestuck thread dont foil with a worse webcomic.
>last two threads died before autosage
Truly the underage meme was real.
Neo Kosmos is pretty poor, regardless of whether you think it has an agenda or not.
It borrows Homestuck's format without understanding how or why it worked, it borrows Steven Universe character designs while removing the elements that make them work (the ginger is just Pearl without her conical elements, which are central to her look), and the writing is lackluster and has difficulty with aspects like introducing conflict. Also, the pacing is shit.

How about a nice cheery story time for this Tuesday Morning.
The most precise work from two men known for their attention to detail in the form of comics.
Come Along
How is your week shaping up?
Every 2nd and/or 22nd day of the month in the calendar, there will be a storytime of the first two issues (each) of two random semi-ongoing comics and/or miniseries.
Today I'm storytiming two Eurocomics from 2012 whose official English translations was published this year.
Previous storytimes: http://desuarchive.org/co/search/subject/Twin-Pack%20Storytime
Remember to bump for readers/while reading.
Any storytime requests that are not 2-issue series must be done somewhere else. Thank you.
Water Memory, an all-ages tale about the mystery of the carved faces on the sea rocks from Mathieu Reynès (Alter Ego) and Valérie Vernay (Agathe Saugrenu).
nobody knows what it's from
The Telltale Batman game just came out. Episode 1, at least.
I'm sick to death of how obvious their twists are and blatantly emotionally manipulative their games try to be, so if any of you've tried it- Is it any good?

Anon will remember this

I liked it, but then again, I'm very easy to please.
I actually liked it. There was even some detective work as Batman. Even if it was designed for a 3 year old to figure out.

Draw the edgiest gem (Steven Universe) you can imagine.
what happened to this show man?
Older seasons:
>consistent style/tone
>had an entertaining, focused, comprehensible story
>actually had witty/funny/natural dialogue
>episodes usually posed a problem for Finn or Jake (or both) and they actually got developed as characters and were relatable
>oftentimes actually conveyed a meaningful, simple moral question or philosophical theme
>fluid, vibrant animation
Newer seasons:
>episodes are totally spontaneous, never know what show I'm going to be watching this week
>unfocused, poorly written stories that make little to no literal sense and are boring as fuck to watch
>lol look how art and symbolism and 2deep we are!!
>are you feeling the feels yet?!
>finn and jake are practically c-listers in their own show, they rarely go on adventures anymore
>there's no longer any likable characters
>ruin perfectly good long-term plot lines in anticlimactic ways or never resolve any until MANY episodes later
>dialogue is usually just ear-gouging stuff with too much made up slang, killing any chance at intimacy with the audience
and because of all these things, the show is now a literal ghost town around here. it used to be so big too.
what do you think /co/, can it ever recover?
This bitch got put in charge, that's what. Same reason everything on CN is shit now.

Hey the newest season does get a little better. It's mostly just the ups and downs of Season 5 and the complete shit-turd awfulness of Season 6 that people cannot stand.

>Ablooabloo I blame womyn ain't I cool
She has nothing to do with it you twat.
Penn Ward stepped down. Rebecca Sugar got her own show.
Most of the storyboarders and good writers left.
It's running on perma-Fanfiction now.
