http://www.cbr.com/batmans-sidekicks-ranked/
Batman’s war against crime started as a solo adventure, but it wasn’t long before he realized he couldn’t do it alone. Luckily, there were plenty of people in and outside of Gotham City who were willing to join his crusade and purge the world of the darkest criminals. Taking a pledge to fight for justice, many of these people were trained by Batman or some outside source to know how to fight the worst of the worst. They learned impressive techniques while still being guided by the Caped Crusader. Many times, their training leads to them becoming superheroes of their own who will return to Gotham and help when needed.
However, there are a lot of sidekicks to roam the buildings of Gotham at night, and it begs the question: who is the best of them all? With some discussion, examination of many comics, and consultation of fans, we’ve put together our definitive list for where we would place the other members of the Bat-Family. We are including non-canonical members as well, for the purposes of being all-inclusive. Where does your favorite Gotham superhero place on this list? Keep reading to see 15 of Batman’s sidekicks ranked from lowest to highest.

I dont know if this is the place to ask, but anyways, anybody knows what's the name of this style of "animation"? (if it even has a name). The motionless drawings with sticks up their arses part.

It would just be considered puppetry when they just bounce around. However when they change the image to another to portray moment that would be called stop motion as the camera pauses and the model is replaced with (usually, not in this case) a slightly different model and the shot is taken again to grant the illusion the model has moved.
I've heard it called Matchstick Theatre by my grandpa, but I'm not sure if he's legit or not

This is an anime btw not a cartoon. I'm guessing that it's a 3D render because something like that will not work in real life. I think nick did something like that as well.

Post sketches, studies, works-in-progress, anything you have to show for your time as of late. Don't be bashful, we're not /ic/.
I'm trying to get the hands down, but they're not the greatest. Still, I've been working on the same simple drawing for over a week now and I'm getting antsy about finishing it. I'll do better on the next one.

[Unsolicited Opinions on Female Thor]
Am I the only one who doesn't really like CatDog, Thornberrys, and Rocket Power? CatDog was mean spirited dreck and forced us to root for Dog, Thornberrys was BORING with the only redeemable factor being Nigel and his memes, and Rocket Power was cringey af
I___agree
>>94688680
Catdog just never had a single likable character. In personality and design. Everyone was ugly and kind of a complete asshole.
>>94688680
Did not mind Thornberries, but it did seem a bit more like a pbs kids type of show aged up for a slightly older crowd.
Rocket Power was cringey. It came off as just way too much of a weird tryhard situation with out of touch middle aged show writers sitting around asking "Just what do kids think is cool anyway? I know let's cram everything X-games into a show as much as humanly possible and then pepper in some newly made up slang!"
