Does anyone have a source for the whole "cancelled season 3" thing? I haven't been able to find anything outside /co/.
There was an article on the Wire about why season 2 took so long to produce.

I'm looking for confirmation that season 3 was ever actually planned.
Been trying to look through interviews with Hirsch but sorry, I can't take this guy. He annoys me.
So those new crossover episodes came out.

I haven't watched 2012 Turtles since Earth got sucked into a black hole.
Are they still dick-riding the 1980's series? I thought they already did a cross over with them. Has 2003 gotten any love?
>>95311350
>Has 2003 gotten any love?
Not since Viacom bought the license. And I don't think they'll do so anytime soon.

>Are they still dick-riding the 1980's series?
Watch the link and find out, not that it matters, there's only three episodes left ro premiereon Nicktoons.
>I thought they already did a cross over with them.
Yeah, which makes this one pointless.
>Has 2003 gotten any love?
Eeeeeeeeeeh... Sort of? Bishop and Hun are characters in the show, the EPF exist in a somewhat bastardised form, etc.
It's not exactly ignoring the 2003 show it just has a rather strange connection to it. The Triceraton Tournament is clearly more of a remake of the 4Kids episode than a second adaptation of that story, since it follows it's changes and ignore certain elements from the comic version but for some odd reason they chose to change the names of the Triceraton characters, like they wanted to pretend they weren't using the same characters.
Meme this, /co/

Why does canada have so much bad taste?

What is this?
Side effect of prolonged contact with Americans.
Isn't this actually decent? What's wrong with it? It can't be any worse than most of the shit currently on CN.
What were /co/'s thoughts on the Looney Tunes Show?
few and far between
Surprisingly good.
It's a much needed update to the Looney Tunes. Sure, it's a departure from the classic but that's not a bad thing in and of itself. Voices are spot-on, art looks good, and episodes were actually funny.
Lola and Daffy are really well done. Lola is far an away better than her Space Jam counterpart, and Daffy is very much a continuation of the popular Duck Dodgers version.
All in all it is worth checking out if you have some time to kill.
Only flaws that come to mind are the cg roadrunner sections and cringe music videos, the former of which was removed after season 2, and the latter was dialed back unless they had a particularly good idea (the wizard, giant robot love, etc)
Even though the environments and situations weren't as "Looney" as previous iterations, they got the characters and their interactions spot-on. Not every episode was gold by any means, but they were enjoyable for the most part.
Kill your darlings finale!

And here we go...
Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair movie pitch is done. Its a finished animated segment to use to pitch for a studio to fund the full movie.
You may remember he used first a Kickstarter, then an Indiegogo to fund it.According to concept art, the princess will be naked at some point.

When I was a little boy I remember seeing the trailers on TV and thinking it was a radical adventure movie.
I was so disappointed to find it was an arcade game.
>>95309709
I played it on Amiga as a kid. I have no idea how people could play it when it cost quarters, you'd either have to be the father/mother of the future South Korean Starcraft champion or on meth to spend less than $10.

The creators of the Long Gone Gulch pilot are doing a livestream tomorow at 19.00 Commiefornia time.
Maybe they are drawing cute rawhides.

Member when people weren't a bunch of fucking pansies who got butthurt over cartoons?
Not really.
I wish the regressive left hadn't infected and killed my hobby by making it a tool of their agenda, though.
Back in the '60s, before hippie parents in the '70s decided that children must be protected at all costs from television?
Maybe it's that the people who are prone to liking cartoons are also likely to be butthurt pansies in the first place? Children, man children, etc.
It's like saying, "Do you remember when teachers weren't invested in educating children?" It's a false premise.

SpongeBob premiered in 1999? I never heard of it back then. I thought it premiered years after Jimmy Neutron.

Wasn't wildly popular until about 2001. Before that, it was the kind of thing people would consider "underrated", considering Rugrats and Catdog were more popular.

I didn't have cable at the time and wrote it off as a bad Ren & Stimpy knockoff.
