Does anybody like Chapel? From his first appearance he was an unlikable dick and he only got worse and worse as the comic went on. And yet he was always kind of marketed as an antihero. But to be a hero you have to stand for something. He believed in nothing and was just an insane fuck. There was no difference between him and Psi-Fire who was never presented to the reader as anything but a villain.
Anyways how has the reboot been Dave, I haven't read it yet.

It's been fun teen stuff. Not very "extreme", but definitely very youthful. Takes some cues from Moore though, which should be interesting - I'd like a new Riptide etc.
And you got a point about Chapel, but I wish the new Chapel(s) had a better mask design.

No back-up?

Yeah a lot of the designs in this kind of let me down which is why I've passed on it up to now. It's the same story with the new Wildstorm book Ellis is writing.

Oh, sure. No problem.

I can understand that. A bit of the ostentatious nature is kinda engrained and expected, right?
And that's the back-up.

Dammit Rob
Too bad we'll never have Seeley back on Bloodstrike again

Agreed, his Bloodstrike wasn't as good as Prophet or Glory, but it was still a decent book and a solid pitch for a Suicide Squad book.

Maybe that's why it tanked
