What were /co/'s thoughts on the Looney Tunes Show?
few and far between
Surprisingly good.
It's a much needed update to the Looney Tunes. Sure, it's a departure from the classic but that's not a bad thing in and of itself. Voices are spot-on, art looks good, and episodes were actually funny.
Lola and Daffy are really well done. Lola is far an away better than her Space Jam counterpart, and Daffy is very much a continuation of the popular Duck Dodgers version.
All in all it is worth checking out if you have some time to kill.
Only flaws that come to mind are the cg roadrunner sections and cringe music videos, the former of which was removed after season 2, and the latter was dialed back unless they had a particularly good idea (the wizard, giant robot love, etc)
Even though the environments and situations weren't as "Looney" as previous iterations, they got the characters and their interactions spot-on. Not every episode was gold by any means, but they were enjoyable for the most part.

fun show that ended too soon

Second season was better than the first.
Good for what it was, as long as you understand what that is
Which is a sitcom, featuring Looney Tunes characters
Like there's a whole episode featuring Bugs stuck in a hole fretting about how he's gonna get out and they don't even treat it with winking absurdity, they treat it as a straight comedic episode

It was alright but the re imagining of some characters like Witch Lezah and Gossamer sucked. Elmer and Yosemite Sam without guns also didn't feel right.

Yosemite had his episode where he was in withdrawal with his guns.

Thanks. Must've missed that episode.
Underrated masterpiece

it was pretty good for what it was.
I liked Lola, the VA nailed her performance.

It's shit, if you're looking for a modern Looney Tunes watch Duck Dodgers instead.
