What does /co/ think of herworks?
I've like most of what I've read. Not a Daken fan but she did okay with him. Liked X-23 & Astonishing. Monstress is really good.
>>86613256
this. And she's cute. Watching her interviews is enjoyable
>>86613107
I am enjoying Montress and i liked the X-23 stuff i've read.
What are some shows that built the foundation for modern cartoons and changed the industry forever?
>>86612960
The Misadventures of Flapjack. One look at the production staff and you'll see that I'm right.
>>86612960
This guy
>>86612983
I'd say more than half of all modern cartoons can be tracked back to Flapjack and Chowder. As the people from this show made other shows, and people went on from those to make others.
Man, this shit was tight. They should have rolled more with Cold on the team.
inb4 he worked for Luthor, not the League.
it's funny how captain cold had better chemistry with the league in like 10 panels than cyborg had in 5 years
>>86612711
KEK
fucking true nigga
>>86612509
I could have done with more of Len trying to get Wonder Senpai to notice him.
>>86612711
Cyborg and Shazam had a god tier bromance for the limited amount they were together though.
Post your favorite /co/ bands.

ITT: Cartoons and comics that you saw completely differently as you got older.
For me, it was Nick Knatterton. As a kid I took it all at face value. Silly spy and detective antics. Watching it again as an adult made me realize that it's actually a parody of Gary Stu character types.
Knatterton is impossibly intelligent, agile and strong, good with all weapons and martial arts despite being a pacifist, has an endless arsenal of incredibly specific gadgets that he pulls out as needed, and so on.
But here's the kicker... He never actually solves any cases. Every time he's close to doing so, he gets knocked out or captured. By the time he's back in action, the situation has solved itself, or been solved by the police.
I can't believe it took me almost 15 years to realize this.
>>86612437
Oh, and I forgot to mention his super eyesight, smell and hearing, all of which ultimately contribute to nothing like the rest of is overpowered abilities. It's brilliant.
Nick Knatterton was ridiculously OP
>be Nick Knatterton
>get knocked out and thrown into the back of a van
>figure out your exact location based on the bumps on the road
The cartoon was also very dirty, the amount of scantily clad women, breasts and asses was astounding for a kids show
>>86612537
Judging by the nature of the whole thing, I'm not even sure if it ever was a kid's show to begin with.
Still, didn't stop me from watching it.
Suffering, it's not just for Gary anymore

>>86612420
I pity Teddy. Only as a girl can he get laid.
>>86612418
Can't beat the cock.
No one storytimed this last week, so we're going to do it right now.
Ringside #7
The professional wrestling comic that's not about professional wrestling.

Why do people like the worst character on the show?
>>86612065
That's not Sadie.
>>86612083
No-no
Sadie is the sexy d-cup midget with the horror movie boner who is secretly tough as fuck and badass.
LARS is the shitty one who is the worst character on the show.
>>86612295
>sadie
>d-cup
no
What the fuck was wrong with the 90s when it came to portraying women? Everyone was dressed as a slut and posed like a stripper and you had these weird elements like mohawks and punk-ish accessories on top of it. I'm not an SJW but this was the absolute worst decade for female characters and a huge reason there's a backlash now.
>>86611936
Early Image made the situation worse.
>>86611945
yeah definitely, i mean it gave us Witchblade
And then add a dyke haircut on top of it.

Who next? Doctor Fate? Zatara? Captain Marvel? Elongated Man? Booster Gold?
>>86611906
Why did you list everyone in alphabetical order?
I guess next is Zatana since she comes after W but before Zatara alphabetically.
>>86611906
What are you trying to say here, anon?
Are you listing Rebirth titles in the most retarded, cryptic way possible? DC tried giving C-listers books back in the early New52 days, they all flopped, out of all of these books, Booster Gold seems sorta possible, and Captain Marvel is obviously earmarked for Johns when his schedule clears up.
Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
>>86611792
I think so brain, but wouldn't discussing cartoons on /co/ ruin the shitposting?
>>86611792
I think so Brain, but this is a blue board.
BURN THEIR OFFICES

Fuck you Bruno.
YOU are the one who chose to blow up that building, it wasn't an accident, it's your own damn fault. Kamala had nothing to do with it.
Life. Get one.
>>86611337
Can't. I lost it on a bus
>>86611328
Bruno, lie in the bed or stand up. Pick one; you look like a tool with your legs dangling like that.
Find a flaw.
