Stop posting this shit, please.
how does his art keep getting worse
how do you draw almost every day of your life and get worse
I've never seen such a stark example of "it's not if you practice, but how you practice"

What's an X-men?
why do these things like star wars so much?
They are symbolism for nostalgia.

Why is Star vs. the Forces of Evil the only show on Disney XD watched enough to crack the top 150 ratings list?

Disney XD is the name of the channel, you massive brain hemorrhage.
Would you read an official TES comic book? It's certainly one of the more comic booky fantasy settings, and not because of the high concept mythologybut because of all the retcons
>>86605367
I would read adventures of Mjöll the Lioness
my character totally married her
>>86605367
Kirkbride's insanity could never be captured within the confines of a comic, and any other writer would make it generic medieval fantasy. No-win situation.

Looks like that Dishonored fellow.
She's really cute and has a nice personality and is very popular. Why hasn't Gaiman or anyone else thought to match her up with another character? She comes off as the type of person someone would fall in love with while she's in the process of spiriting them away. I'm surprised there's never been a story about this.
>>86605046
She's Gaiman's waifu and he would never allow it.

Pretty sure she fucked her brother.
Wasn't there a Chinese cow farmer she liked?

Has DC ever tried to explain the bullshit behind the destruction of krypton?
>Why did the planet just explode?
>Why haven't other planets in the DC universe exploded?
>Why did no other alien races try to save the kryptonians when their planet was exploding? Or is krypton like Atlantis (historical, not DC) in that it was destroyed very quickly before anyone could even notice?
>Also, how was the entire population of krypton on the planet when it exploded? Were there no kryptonians in other parts of the universe at that time?
>What happened to the Daxamites?
These are questions that need to be answered.
yeah just recently with Omega Men go read it
>>86604744
>Why did the planet just explode?
Geological instability. Generally portrayed to be the Kryptonians fault somehow.
>Why haven't other planets in the DC universe exploded?
See above. Kryptonian's fault.
>Why did no other alien races try to save the kryptonians when their planet was exploding? Or is krypton like Atlantis (historical, not DC) in that it was destroyed very quickly before anyone could even notice?
The Green Lantern Corp sent Tomar-Re to stabilize the planets core, but because the Kryptonians were assholes he had to do it in secret and couldn't finish the job in time.
>Also, how was the entire population of krypton on the planet when it exploded? Were there no kryptonians in other parts of the universe at that time?
Kryptonians were insular and xenophobic, they didn't like to be off-planet.
>What happened to the Daxamites?
Doing quite well on Daxam. Independent colony, weren't really affected by the explosion.
All your questions have been answered at some point. Do your research.
OP you need to read comics. All of this has been addressed multiple times.

Omega Men merely referenced the Tomar Re story, it didn't do anything new
http://www.newsarama.com/31251-is-wonder-woman-queer-obviously-yes-says-rucka.html
>Defined in the interview as "involving, although not necessarily exclusively, romantic and/or sexual interest toward persons of the same gender," Rucka told Comicosity definitively that Wonder Woman is queer - however, the people of Themiscyra don't define their sexuality with the heternormative terms of "man's world."
>"Yes. I think it’s more complicated though," explained Rucka. "This is inherently the problem with Diana: we’ve had a long history of people - for a variety of reasons, including sometimes pure titillation, which I think is the worst reason - say, 'Ooo. Look. It’s the Amazons. They’re gay!'"
>"And when you start to think about giving the concept of Themyscira its due, the answer is, 'How can they not all be in same sex relationships?' Right? It makes no logical sense otherwise," he continued. "But an Amazon doesn’t look at another Amazon and say, 'You’re gay.' They don’t. The concept doesn’t exist. Now, are we saying Diana has been in love and had relationships with other women? As [artist] Nicola [Scott] and I approach it, the answer is obviously yes."
>Rucka goes on to explain that it's important that Diana's first romantic relationship not be with Steve Trevor, otherwise her drive to leave Themyscira would be motivated by love rather than sacrifice, which he explains "takes away her heroism."
>"When we talk about agency of characters in 2016, Diana deciding to leave her home forever - which is what she believes she’s doing - if she does that because she’s fallen for a guy, I believe that diminishes her heroism. She doesn’t leave because of Steve. She leaves because she wants to see the world and somebody must go and do this thing. And she has resolved it must be her to make this sacrifice."
>However, Rucka also states that he has avoided having Wonder Woman state her sexuality outright because doing so doesn't serve the story. Rather, he takes a "show, don't tell" approach to explaining Wonder Woman's identity.
>"For my purposes, that’s bad writing," Rucka said of what he calls "the Northstar problem" - needing a character to state their sexuality outright for it to be considered valid. "That’s a character stating something that’s not impacting the story. I get nothing for my narrative out of that in almost any case. When a character is being asked point blank, if it’s germane to the story, then you get the answer. But for me, and I think for Nicola as well, for any story we tell - be it Black Magick, be it Wonder Woman, be it a Batman story - we want to show you these characters and their lives, and what they are doing."
>"By our standards where I am standing of 2016, Themyscira is a queer culture. I’m not hedging that. And anyone who wants to prevaricate on that is being silly," he continued. "I really don’t like the idea that there are people out there who might think DC is being mealy-mouthed about this. They’re not. No one wants to be taken out of context by ignorant people, but nobody at DC has ever said, 'She’s gotta be straight.' Nobody. Ever. They’ve never blinked at this."
>"And when they’ve had questions about how we represent this, it’s always been about representing what the story needs. I think every publisher can be lit up for moments of negligence and mistakes they made, but it matters a great deal to me that DC be given their due here."
>Rucka summed his and DC's approach to Wonder Woman's sexuality by saying that they prefer to think of it as a simple fact, a non-issue.
>"They would, I think, like any business, prefer this not be an issue to anybody. But most of us human beings would also really rather this not be an issue for anybody anymore. It is what it is. This is how the Amazons live."

GOD DAMN YOU BENDIS! GOD DAMN YOU! YOU CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT!
This show is pretty damn good.
I honestly regret putting off watching it until now.
I love Detentionaire. It's one of those hidden gems that never really got a chance to shine outside of Canada (CN did it so dirty, I'm still pissed).
How far into the Prankspiracy are you, Anon?
>>86604375
Not OP but I saw a thread about it yesterday or so and I'm on episode 27.
No spoilers but fucking every character is better than the MC. It's driving me nuts. Also the not-animated background characters look so good.
Biff and Holger are also the best characters.
On another downside I think the entire plot being dragged out so long without having any real 'meaningful' or interesting plots in between is really annoying but its also what painfully forces me to keep watching. I get that the MC thinking he won't get back into detention is a running gag but its annoying as well as some just fucking.. Weird and completely random, outlandish, convenient thing that happens that allows him to get away is really annoying. He could be on his hands and knees, blind folded with someone pulling the trigger to a shotgun at his face and something like wearing a retainer would save his life.
>>86604375
I just finished episode 10 so I'm not very far in at all.
I did accidentally spoil some of it for myself so I do kind of know where it's going but not entirely.
Can we settle this once for all. What's the best sex scene in comic book history?
Honestly? That pissed me off.
Bette Kane was a fucking Teen Titan. Sure, it was technically Titans East, but still. She was a super-hero before Kate had ever dreamed of donning a cape.
But in the comic Kate is acting as a huge bitch to Bette, telling Bette to stop being a hero, because she doesn't need a partner, and then you've this page where Kate is fucking a poor man's version of Renee while Bette is being gutted by a weird magical ghost thing-y.
Fuck this comic. The only good thing about it was the art.

> poor man's version of Renee

Would Stan Lee's death have any impact on the industry? Or is he too far disconnected from it to actually matter?
Will there be memorial issues, like with 9/11 but for Stan Lee?
there will definitely be a lot of awkward drawings of jack kirby co-creations standing around crying

I would throw a party.
I'm not too familiar with the drama, why do people not like Stan Lee? Did he take credit for Kirby's work?
