Are there any western comics with QUALITY car chase scenes?
That's one thing that anime and manga do REALLY well, yet I've never really seen western media that gets the "car driving action sequences" quite right, or at least not at high enough level of execution that they're worth watching/reading for those scenes alone.
So does anyone have any recs?

I recently bingewatched Steven Universe and I honestly don't understand the hate S1 gets.
Half of season 2 was filler, and not the fun kind like in S1. Obviously the plot picked up, but we didnt even get to fucking SEE Malachite other than Chille Tid. Season 1 as a journey is way more properly paced, and just makes for a better show. Nothing in S2 beats the Return/Jailbreak payoff or the sheer hype of Mirror Gem/Ocean Gem. I feel like Season 3 got its footing back, but a lot of 2 just feels...rushed to me.
The best parts of S2 to me are the Sardonyx arc and Peridot redemption stuff. I can barely remember anything else. Meanwhile all of the most iconic and memorable episodes are S1.
And finally, Season 2 simply isnt funny to me. There are filler episodes in S1 that I will just watch when I'm feelong bored for some cute fun. I can't do that with S2 because the filler is either just depressing like Sadie's Song or fucking nothing like Love Letters.I do like that the show finally adressed how absolutely hot Garnet is thoughThere was a charm to the humor in S1 that could make me laugh, even when the joke wasn't even that funny. That just felt kind of dead in S2. Too reddit and self aware for me.
I'm not gonna judge 4 yet, but there have only been 2 good episodes.

Season 2 is weird because, as I understand it, 2/3 were ordered as one 52-episode season the same way 1 was. It wasn't until Season 2 was in the can that it was retroactively split into a 2/3 for broadcast purposes.
So as far as production goes, season 2 broadcast seasons 2/3, which I think explains the perceived pacing issues of broadcast season 2.

That's because the movies made him unlikable while the comics made him a cunt. And because the movies fixed Tony, Marvel had to backpeddle and tried to fix Tony.
It's because of shit like Civil War and House of M that for the longest time, Marvel head writers tried not to make characters like hitler that they own the rights to.

His original design had a wing-like cape and its ears looks pretty similar to a bats.
Problem is the costume changed slightly over the years to something that's recognisably similar to the original, but has lost the importaint traits the costume actually had.

It's just amazing that so few Batman variants have played with the idea of people assuming him being some sort of inhuman bat-creature that preys on criminals.
For someone who seems to relish in the urban myth philosophy of it, Bats never seems to really do anything with it.
He just runs around in a very normal superhero costume with pointy head-bits.
It's a shame.

It's a zoo in Denmark. They didn't have to change the name, strictly speaking, since the film itself is a very distinct product from an actual zoo. But if they didn't, then they wouldn't have been able to sell as wide a variety of merchandise without overlapping into the zoo's legal property of selling things like t shirts, mugs, and the like.
