To me, this was the point that I stopped giving a single fuck about the show. There was nothing left to care about.

1: the show had constantly hinted at adult Finn having lost an arm, which he finally did, and we were told that the events of the season finale would have a lasting impact on Finn - he wouldn't just get his arm back.

2: The events of the season finale were undone like, what... 3 episodes later by a fucking deus ex machina in a shitty soapboxing episode of some douchebag that thought this show would make a great place to make his so-deep statement about some shit he went through as a kid.

3: Point 2 was not stopped by anyone, proving that nobody else involved seemed to give a single fuck about the show.

I'll catch new eps if I come across them, but I no longer seek out anything on this show, and I don't regret it - everything I've seen past this point has pretty much been total shit. The only thing I've liked past this was the Marceline miniseries.

the suits hated the entire concept of Finn loosing his arm, and kept breathing down the creative team's necks to "fix it"

this is largely due to marketing reasons
the design of a lead character should never change drastically

at least the writers did manage to make the grass hand into a plot point in later episodes, so it was not a complete waste

I'd like Miles better if he didn't have Venom blast. It makes no sense as a power for him to have, and it's stupid when he wins the majority of his fights easily with it. Like, he seriously beat Blackheart by himself with it?

the events leading up to and including the final incursion never happened. when the Richards remade the multiverse, they started 616 from just before then and only a few characters know this (Black Panther, via time gem. Loki, via being god of stories and just going to the future, Thanos, via being outside the universe)
so the stuff Thor did to become worthy again never happened

right now all signs point towards what he whispered being for Mjolnir, not Thor. Maybe some secret, maybe words of power. either way, it was recently demonstrated what a lot of had suspected that Mjolnir has become fully self-aware and sentient, which is probably because of what Fury whispered. 'Worthy' is now a meaningless pretense. You can now only pick up Mjolnir if it wants you to pick it up.

as for why, there's a few possible keikakus but the most obvious answer is that Mjolnir realized Odin was being currupted by his brother the Serpent, and dealing with that for the sake of Asgard would require fighting Odin. In such a fight even a split second of hesitation could result in Odin killing Thor. So Mjolnir decides it needs a new handler. Someone with a vested interest in the wellbeing of Asgard but with no loyalty or love for Odin, and even better, someone who would not be willing to just give up Mjolnir if push comes to shove. Jane is perfect for that, since she's Earth's ambassador on Asgard, and while using Mjolnir she can't feel how close she is to dying of cancer
