Who would win this?
>>89209075
with or without mechas?
without, Steven would win
with, Shinji would have the upper hand, but Steven could probably still guild-trip him into giving up
then give him therapy

With mechas, but Steven is allowed to fuse

The audience: there is a high chance that the match would end up as MAD
I never actually watched Book 3 and Book 4 of Korra. I disliked Book 2 so much that my interest in the show was killed.
Should I go back and watch them? Did I miss anything worth seeing?
zaheer was a legit great villain
some of it was fun to watch
it was like hooking up with an ex
>>89208895
not really korra is a bad avatar set in a bad time period
>>89208895
Yes, better than the Last Airbender in every way conceivable
MARCO!
POLO!
Just an FYI. Marko Polo wasn't Italian.

Currently trying to make a fantasy type character. Recently got into Monster Hunter so ya know

Nice stuff! Was she made to be like a background character or will she be developed?
Ignoring comparisons to TAS, is this show any good?
Yes. It does some interesting things with the characters, like the episode where Joker dresses up as Batman, the one with D.A.V.E and the one where Riddler tells Batman his backstory and he has a breakdown because Batman solves in hours what he hadn't figured out in years.
>>89207932
It's a decent time waster. Nothing horrible, but nothing great.
It was alright. The Batman vs Dracula was really fucking good, though.

Along with Spider-Man, Sniktbub used to be pretty much the face of Marvel and one of their most popular characters. Now he's completely downplayed and pushed aside. It'd be like if Batman or Superman was shoved in the closet at DC.Is it because SJWs and millennials can't handle a gruff angsty murder machine?

He was pretty saturated and was put to rest for a couple of years before making a big shit out of the ''Return of THE Wolverine''
Aside from the NYC Mirror Dimension chase and the Time Stone putting Hong Kong back together, this movie was generic and lacking creativity.
I disagree with you.

My question is what did the New York Sactum look like before british people colonized it? America is way younger than China or the UK, so was there some Native American Sorceress Supreme back then or what?
I think all of the action sequences and visuals were neat and memes aside, the way he defeated Dormammu was suitably clever.
However the first half was absolute dreck and bendydick is an awful actor
It's happening?

I'm OK with this.

Ditto
This show really needs to pick a genre and try sticking with it. I don't think trying to be a jack of all is working out for them.
>Slice of life but with world-at-stake plots
>Episodic but wants to have character developing arcs
>Light hearted silly cartoon comedy that can break the fourth wall but then crying and drama at the turn of a heel
>Musical but with lackluster songs
>Action and adventure but with really dry fight scenes
And then worst of all, trying to do all of this in an 11-minute format.
It started off as more tongue-in-cheek with naturalistic dialogue. Anything related to the so-called "plot" by the fanboys was developed in the background mostly from implications or throwaway lines. A dry sense of humor was prevalent, much like in Adventure Time. Nothing was forced, shit just happened. This tone was good and it is what made the show take on the reputation for "lore" because despite the cartoon being about a little boy having fun and coming of age, there was a perception of something dark happening behind the scenes. It was thematically appropriate too, because the show takes place from the perspective of a young boy who doesn't understand the bizarre implications of his strange life, and it served to reinforce a number of other things in the show, such as the reverse escapism theme in the Rose/Greg + Steven/Connie relationships.
All that has been thrown in the dumpster so forget everything I just said. They took all the stuff happening in the background and thrust it into the foreground starting around the time Friend Ship came out. Every episode consists of highly scripted and artificial by-the-numbers sitcom conflicts resolved in consistently predictable ways full of uninspired attempts at jokes. The art has taken a real shit too.
I am not familiar with the creative team that is behind the show, other than hearing a rumor that the storyboard artists also write the show, so I don't know if there were any major team lineup changes, but this change in quality is definitely indicative of some major players leaving or being fired or being tied up in a closet by idiot marketing executives.
I think the heavier eps can still have merit. And I don't really mind slice-of-life when it's connected back to the gems and their everyday interactions.
But a lot of the townsfolk still haven't really grown as characters from day one, and the pacing of the rest of the conflict and character development has to take a break every few episodes for them. Which is roughly three to six months with the way the release schedule has been going. I'd rather see the new group dynamic go on a few mission/adventures again then see what's happening back in Beach City.
>>89205329
A lot of the songs are great in my opinion. Leagues better than the drivel in adventure time that's for sure.
>>89205524
Nobody important left the show at the time of Friend Ship so maybe you just didn't like the directon they took the show.
Also you're wrong. This isn't adventure time where there were hints of maybe something in the background that may never come to fruition. They were pretty clear that the crystal gems were rebels from a war against Homeworld much earlier than that.
Is he...not a planet then?
>>89204820
Not yet I guess.
He's a planet who has an avatar in a human form.
Apparently it's his human form.
But I'll be beyond disappointed if we don't get a face on the planet.
>It's a episode where they go to Venice
>WHEN THE MOON HITS YOUR EYE LIKE A BIG PIZZA PIE
>It's an episode where they go to France
>Accordion music plays
>Eiffel tower in background no matter where they are
>>89204315
to be fair watch a french movie, they really love that tower.
>>89204093
WHEN THE STARS SEEM TO SHINE LIKE YOU'VE HAD TOO MUCH WINE THAT'S AMORE
You just got hired by Marvel. They want you to write a female-led comic aimed at young women, featuring a diverse cast and touching on political issues of the day. This is your big break and you can't turn it down.
What do you pitch them and how do you make it not shit?

Big titties.
>>89202995
Impossible to say in one word
It's a combination of being sexy but brave and hard-working and somewhat smart, but still not an undefeatable badass.
She's not a ballcrusher superhero, but also not a bimbo, or a cute and scared li'l girl.
Also that jumpsuit and her constantly getting tied up are hot.
