Other than the old hulk movie, Xmen 3, Inside Out, and So I Married an Axe Muderer, there's really no movies I can think of that take place in California but not in LA. I'm sure there's a decent amount, but I don't know of them that's for sure. If it's not New York, it's Chicago, and if it's not that it's LA, and then you have San Fransicso once in a blue moon. There's outliers of course, but that's how it is. You get used to being subject to the whims of one fucking city in the third biggest state in the union. Fucking LA.
