Post religous extremism
Its fun
Explain why anyone would think Storm and Black Panther being married was a good idea?
Storm is a poor child thief from the streets who was taken in and raised to be a strong independent woman wishing to help other lost children.
Black Panther is a rich asshole from a magic kingdom that preaches isolationism and racism against all other countries, who only ever helps others when it serves their interests.

Hudlin.
Hudlin wanted an all black cast for a BP film, because comic book movies had proved they made the IP holder rich.
So when he got BP he wrote his arc like an origin story in the hopes that it would get optioned and he'd get some sweet movie money. This meant ignoring all the previous awesome shut Chris Priest had just done with BP, throwing at his supporting cast, and adding as many cameos from more well known heroes as possible.
For Hudlin, Storm was just STRONG WELL KNOWN BLACK GIRL for Panther to fugg. They're both black and rolling them together boosted BP's limited notoriety and that's all the reasoning there is.
Nevermind that Hudlin wouldn't own the rights to any of that shit, but what can you expect from the man who ran BET into the ground?
He did kinda win in the end though, as he paid marvel and himself to use his BP arc to make a shitty, cheap, motion-comic of BP on BET. The theme song was sweet at least.

and thus once again, the MCU ruined everything

Thankfully he's nowhere near the film so it'll be better than anything he ever did.

Apparently the original Aqua Teen pilot had a bit of extra content that was never included in any release. Thankfully someone recorded it when it premiered on CN at like 5 in the morning.
Isn't it on the season 1 DVD?

The regular pilot but this is the original original.
>>89156804
that was a test pilot that was never broadcasted. it also looked a lot shittier.
Where the fuck is Abomination? Is he in prison? If so, how do they contain him? Did he turn back into a human? What if he turns into Abomination again? If he's in prison, why didn't Ultron break him out to fight Hulk? He obviously can't handle Hulk by himself. Why hasn't he been mentioned? If they found a way to contain Abomination, then why didn't they do the same with Hulk when he was terrorizing cities? Is the Incredible Hulk movie even considered part of the MCU? If so, how do they explain Norton turning into Ruffalo? If Stan Lee's character died in this movie, how does he show up in every Marvel movie past this point? It doesn't make any sense.
He was mentioned multiple times. Ross wanted him to be an Avenger. He's in Ross's custody now, I suppose. Probably in the same place where Hawkeye and Ant Man ended up in Civil War.
Potentially it could mean that Ross is experimenting with the Hulk formula and will at some point turn into Red Hulk.
Remember Talbot? A leutenant under Ross who had hots for Betty? He's employing Absorbing Man as his personal bodyguard to counter any possible powered attack.

Looking back on it, what went so right? Did /co/ enjoy Superior Spider-Man during it's run?
Nah /co/ was a bunch of whiny babies through the whole thing and thought it was the worst comic ever published as it happened.
A lot of /co/ did enjoy it.
I didn't at all. Looking back at it now, I can appreciate the concept, but the execution was extremely sloppy. The only reason it worked was because Slott had to dumb down everyone surrounding him.
>>89156147
the thing was stretched beyond its means for the sake of creating an illusion of significance in the Spider-Man mythos. Any potential it did have got thrown out the window and set on fire when Otto deleted his Peter memories. Slott really cemented himself as a writer that willfully does more harm than good

>We’re introducing some new characters, such as Cassandra Mercury. In this information age, she has the ultimate power: blackmail. She knows everything about everybody and she is not remotely afraid to use it. But there is one thing that she has a huge vulnerability about, and she needs Ben’s help in order to achieve it. As for other [Marvel Universe] characters, I’m still working on that.
>He’s kind of nuts. I mean, I’ve been reading the new coverage of the title thus far and everyone seems to be saying, “Well, Ben’s decided he’s going to be a hero again.” No, he’s not. He has no idea what he is.
>Ben Reilly is someone who has undergone a horrific punishment in that he’s died over and over and over again. It’s like the ultimate form of PTSD. Think about shellshock and what happens to people who are threatened with death even once, and how that can disrupt them mentally. Ben has died countless times. To my mind, the poor devil is unhinged. He doesn’t know if he’s a hero, a villain, or something in between.
>Ben is our protagonist, yes, but I wouldn’t be so quick to peg him as a hero. This series will be unique in the vast legion of Spider books out there. It is not about a hero just trying to take down the bad guys and do good. It’s about a tortured individual who is trying to figure out exactly what is good and what is bad, what is right and what is wrong.
>The truth is that we now live in a world where facts don’t even seem to matter anymore. People embrace what they believe and are quick to shrug off anything that doesn’t fit into their worldview. To some degree, Ben has no worldview. It’s as if he’s seeing it for the first time and trying to figure out his place in it, or even if he has one. So if fans are eager to read about, not just a series of adventures, but a journey in personal exploration, this is the book for them.

Thoughts?
It would have been a decent pitch for a Kaine book twenty years ago. Going in this direction for Ben though makes no sense

People said the opposite when they were making Kaine a good guy.

>We’re introducing some new characters
And then what? Forget about their existence? Kill them off?
Is this all just a huge trick, or has Lex genuinely reformed?
>>89155391
Until someone in the company decides "Not muh lex!" and makes it all a ruse.
>>89155402
This. It's too drastic of a change to the essential Superman mythos, and there are too many autistic manchildren triggered by it for it to stay around. We'll be back to status quo before 2017 is out.
>>89155391
I think it will be a case of:
>villain genuinely decides to reform
>good guys don't trust him and try to pick apart every action of his as an evil ruse
>villain gets fed up and goes back to villainy
Lets predict Marvel & DC's WTF hook ups of 2017
