Jesus fuck. How are you always here at thread start?
>>90590303
Haaaa, 8/10 edition.
Or the same amount of Muscular?
also, general character build preference thread n stuff
How would you feel about a thicc female character who had psychic powers? (By thicc I mean clinically overweight and well-proportioned but not morbidly obese)
>>90590159
Both should be more slabby and thicc, instead of ripped. I say Superman should be a bit bigger to drive home how he's a powerhouse.
>How would you feel about a thicc female character who had psychic powers? (By thicc I mean clinically overweight and well-proportioned but not morbidly obese)
Gimmicky.
It's not real or realistic so it should just be aesthetically based.
Personally I like the idea of Batman looking a bit more ripped and "lab made" because he's an asshole like that and also it's more intimidating.
Meanwhile Superman should look "softer" like a Big farmboy with a little fat over his muscle. Not hyper defined or anything. Also taller than Batman.
As for strong girls I like the idea of Wonder Woman being something like Ivana Spanovic.
>>90590159
I've never seen a bodybuilder that knew martial arts. They can't even scratch their backs, let alone move fluently in a fight against 10 guys. Batman should be fit but not overly muscular. He's not Bane.
-Hoo Beverly you were
a lonely teacher 'till your bun got so tight
that it made your brain like a teenager's (living with Mom now)

>Have the chance to make a cartoon
>Limitless possibilities for a premise, character designs and settings, the realm of imagination is boundless, you could literally do anything within human comprehension.
>Make this
>MAKE THIS
Ya know a part of never wants this to get picked up because of how awful it will be. We need more bafflingly bad cartoons and less boring or annoying bad
Why does everyone in Springfield overlook the fact that Homer killed someone? Not even in a joking way, like it's literally canon (so to speak).
>>90589182
Because dodging a shirt isn't murder ya sperg
>>90589182
>>90589320
To be fair, it was an honest mistake.
>>90589182
Same reason they overlook every other thing Homer gets away with and all the other stupid things that happens in their town. Because if they didn't it would be a very different kind of show. They did a whole episode explaining this where a neurotic guy representing somebody from the real world that would notice all the bullshit paid them a visit, and was driven mad.
Storytimed Englehart's "end of canon" arc a few weeks ago. After that was Simonson's arc. Turns out it's chocked full of H̗̦̣̜̙̝͝ͅỴ̟̲͙͉̞́P̷͖̺͇̲̲̳̝̱̮̀͝Ę̗̥͍̙͍̣̣͝R͍͖̕C̵̡̼͕̳R̙̖̪̼̝͈ÍͅŞ̴͇͓̰̰͖̠̜̣̲́Ì̢̺͓̤̻̦̞̰̗̙S̛͍̼̘͔͟.
Gonna share. Starting with some bits from Simonson's Thor & Avengers that lead into it.
Coincidentally, Ewing recommended it this week and it shares some themes with his work.

Got called just as I posted, sorry.
>I’m working on four characters right now. I’m working with Josh Brolin and three other actors [in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War], and I’m playing Josh Brolin’s right hand bad guy in the film. I can’t say the name of the character or I think Marvel will sever my head, but I apply those same principals of what it means to drop bullshit and just play a character truly evil. And it’s working. [Laughs] It’s truly working.
He's playing Corvus. We're totally getting the Black Order, right?
Terry Notary is a badass. One of the best mocappers in the business, right alongside with Serkis. Here's him as Hellscream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LmZF3i2yCU
>>90588632
He was also in the new Kong movie.
>>90589360
And worked as the primary movement coach on the Planet of the Apes movies.
Let's read the new comic from one of my favorite cartoonists. It came out a couple of weeks ago, but I don't think anybody storytimed it.
And for your convenience, I made a playlist of all the songs featured in the back of this issue to listen to while you read.

Also, how's A.D.? Anyone read it?
I read the first dozen pages but couldn't figure out if I liked it. Snyder is hit and miss for me.
TCW was so good.
As much as some people hate to admit it, not having George Lucas.
Lucas is bad at alot of things, most things really, but he had more money and resources that most normal people didn't have. TCW for him was meant to be a redemption of sorts, to show that he really did know what he was doing and wasn't a complete hack. Because of this it had a lot of resources put in, gradually improved and had some actual heart.
Lucas is a greedy idiot with an ego, but I believe he did genuinely care about the franchise despite not really knowing what to do with it.

>TCW was so good.
No anon, gendy's clone wars was good, TCW was a boring badly animated series with butt ugly designs and fight scenes that feel like a kid slamming action figures together and managed to make grevious go from "Boring but kinda cool" to just "boring"
>BUT MUH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
WHO GIVES A SHIT? By this point we already knew how the clone wars ended, doesn't matter how much waifu bait they put into the series.
Spiders and birds always travel together. It's in account of their hoodies, that make them Super Hero Best Friends.
In (nervous) anticipation of Ben Reilly: The Scarlet Spider #1, here's a look at how the whole thing could go if you asked this particular anon.

Is he the blandest MC? Or is there a character out there that out blands him?
>>90587546
Is bland necessarily a bad thing? Growing (6-9) up during premier episodes of Doug was the closest thing I'll have to life lessons on how to be Canadian.
Someone post the Tree of Doug image.
I think Arthur comes pretty close if not equal.
What happened to this character?
>>90587307
*starts crying*
>>90587307
hey /hst/, I'm at Act 6 Act 5. Is it worth finishing?
Is it good after the director swap?
>>90587022
>Director swap
?
do you mean showrunner swap? (Pen leaving and Adam Muto stepping up)
>>90587022
You mean showrunner, right? It started kinda bad during 5.2 and 6, but it became good again during S7 and S8.
>>90587022
It went unchanged, Pen Ward stepping down as show runner impacted the show very little . Pen still continued to storyboard episodes, he still provides insight for the writers, he still plays the voice of LSP. He is currently an executive producer. Even before he stepped down, be wasn't the only one that made the show great. Rebecca Sugar, Adam Muto, Natasha Alegri, Patrick McHale, et al., these are people that have contributed to the show as well. If anything, I might say the greatest impact the show has had was Sugar leaving the show.

>Had the perfect opportunity to use Daken>Uses a Hugh Jackman clone instead
Why can't Fox do anything right?
Up
>>90586881
because in the context of the story a Wolverine Clone made more sense than Daken
>>90586881it was weapon x.
the story came to a full cirlcle, anon.
Today I'm sharing some more of the tale of Steinheld "Stinz" Löwhard, a halfhorse and veteran of the Great War.
Previous thread: >>90561828
This is from The Big Book: New Souls, which is a collected group of stories published in the seven years or so between Stinz volume 3 issues 8 and 9.
This is a big one, at 136 pages of Stinz stories.
I'm skipping Bosom Enemies, an even weirder set of unrelated stories that form the back third of The Big Book collection, but you can grab it from my comics share if you like:
