it was an okay album. I wasn't too into it at first, especially that purgatory track. the whole thing felt a little slow and pensive(?), to the extent of it feeling like a drag in general. like with me, Hush builds up to 'Wrong or Right' really well, then the rest of the album is like a cooling off period. all of this one felt like the last part of that Hush.

It's deffo the weakest album, taking CB's place I agree.

I thought ED was kind of a weird one because he had already released a few of the tracks before the album, such as Purgatory and We don't know anything. I haven't really listed to CB enough to compare, but I thought ED was pretty good. I actually really liked Purgatory though as well as Suicide Hotline.

Suicide hotline is pretty great, and yeah purgatory has grown on me. the instrumental is actually superb.

I used to avoid CB back when it came out because it was a little bit of a departure from what I expected. I like it quite a bit, and I think the fact that I've been listening to it for so long is why I place it above Daydreams. It's by no means bad ofc, straight into my playlists etc.

1. Terezi finds the way back to Vriska and the others stuck in the old universe via some off-camera bulllshit that will be explained poorly in a later chatlog or hussie tweet.

2. Terezi makes an expedition party to rescue everyone, warning all the alpha kids that LE could still be alive and to be on your guard

3. We have a LEGIT REAL ALCHEMY SESSION with Terezi and the alpha kids because holy shit why did this stop being a thing

4. They make their way back into the old universe to find LE and the beta kids still locked in battle, and instantly join in to help them via a sweet battle flash like the end of Act 6.

5. John strikes the final blow on LE using some maggufin weapon that the alpha kids made for him. Erisolsprite is also seen in the background flipping everyone off.

6. Everyone is accounted for, including GCATavrossprite, Sollux, and fridge Gamzee for some reason. The only two people missing are Vriska and Aradia. Terezi investigates.

7. The beta kids said they flew off after having a huge argument about something. Terezi investigates once more.

8. She stumbles upon them, engaging in what Karkat would later describe as "the deadliest cycle of spades": an almost ritualistic form of hatefucking that involves fight fucking to the literal death only to be revived through god tier and continue the process. They violently scream and bite and cunt punt each other while covered in eachother's blood and other juices. Aradia time freezes Vriska and lashes at her with her whip. Vriska rolls her fluorite octet to gain a jet black strapon and proceeds to "swordfight" with her. They have shown zero signs of stopping since Terezi happened upon them, and don't even notice her watching. She decides to leave them alone.

9. Everyone else returns to the new universe and lives happily ever after. Credits roll.

Remember in Problem Sleuth when the entire universe was reflected in the Stiller glasses? And that was referenced when Dave was introduced and the universe flashed in his Stiller glasses. And that was referenced when Sollux was introduced and it was calling him a cool kid and the universe flashed in his shades too. And that was referenced when the big reveal of the troll session creating the kids universe came around and it was visualized through Sollux's glasses, zooming out from the troll universe in his blue lens, and into the kids universe in his red lens. And that was referenced in Ca-fucking-scade when the 2 universes were literally contained behind red and blue glass, in the tumor. Which means that one of the most epic and grand moments in all of Homestuck is like 4 degrees of referential separation from the stupid joke of Problem Sleuths office door being blocked by a goddamn bust of Ben Stiller from the Starsky and Hutch remake.
