Great to add to soups. Wonton soup, ramen, whatever asian soup you make just add some on top when you're serving it. Great stuff.

Has anyone here ever tried making their own kombucha? How about their own SCOBY for the making of kombucha?
I just made a strong batch of black tea with lots of sugar, cooled it to room temp, then added about a cup of raw, unprocessed kombucha which I bought at Fresh Thyme. It's sitting in the closet now, and with any luck it'll turn into a blob of afterbirth with I can then use to whip up kombucha for years to come.
Anyway /ck/, what is your experience with kombucha?

1) Stop off at HotLicks (local hot sauce store) and buy some really spicy hit
2) Buy some pancetta and wrap some kind of super unhealthy food in it
