We get plenty of jackasses coming on here telling us the market's gonna crash hard like it's 2008 any day now. What none of them tell us is one: a day, and two: what do to to profit from it.
So, if you knew tomorrow, either from a technical signal you've been looking at, or the freakin' Angel of the Lord comes down and tells you "Nigger it's happening now!" how would you profit the most on this? Would you throw your bottom dollar selling some put options of an ETF, sell some futures, what?
Just thought this would be a fun topic to brainstorm

The Winter Cup is over, with /fit/ taking a deserved (And Hyped) win over /u/ after Extra Time. With that over and done, we get ready to set up our team for Spring, which should take place in Late April or May. The roster poll is now open, and your input is needed for Players, Music, and team Look and Feel.

Four times a year, a virtual Football/Soccer tournament is held between the different boards. Boards submit a team based on their best-known memes and culture, and managers clench their assholes hoping luck will give them a few wins.
Yes, it's dumb and autistic, we know.
>What do we have to do with it?
Everything! Players, Music, and Kits are chosen by polls that generally run 1-2 times per year. Additionally, fans from each board create the teams, run test matches for each tournament, and create the look and feel of each player.
Most teams tend to have 1-2 managers, and occasionally others that help with testing or creating Aesthetics/Kits for players. Larger boards sometimes have multiple testers, or a "council" of management that determines the team's tactics.

The 2016 roster poll is open now! You should see a banner ad at the top of your screen if you don't have adblock enabled. Additionally, I'll post a direct link to the Google Form shortly (I don't want it marked as spam).
Of course, I'm always around to answer any questions to have about getting involved - just post on the rolling /vg/ thread, or my details can be found on our page at implyingrigged (dot) info/

Two things to point out, just from the responses I'm seeing so far:
1) If you dislike any of the music, PLEASE suggest a replacement. It's hard to find good music that fits the board, and we don't want to risk switching out for music that people dislike more.
2) We've never had an Ethereum rep because in October (The last time there was a real thread/poll), Etereum wasn't a thing - at least not on the board, and not on the scale it's on now. If you want an Ethereum rep, SAY SO - and try to recommend a name. It probably makes sense to replace the current Dogecoin rep, but we probably need a better name than just "Ethereum".

So after taking vyvanse for the first time awhile back I have to wonder why the fuck anyone would smoke weed daily and not do vyvanse.

So, I'm about to be in graduate school. I have a job that makes about 600 dollars a month. I have to pay part of my school loans, my rent, internet, etc.
At the end of this, I have $0.
My wife was born into poverty with genetically weak teeth. She was a crack baby. Since then she's disowned her family, moved across the country, and started her life over and done okay for herself. She is almost done with her degree.
Every night, she weeps in pain from her teeth. When she smiles, you wouldn't think she has bad teeth, but apparently the genetic weakness means they are prone to decay. She brushes/flosses/whatever every day but it doesn't seem to help.
The cheapest place I've found to get her out of pain requires 7,000 dollars. I do not have 7,000 dollars. Dental insurances, even were I to have it, usually cover between 1 and 3k and only after a year. This is at a dental school. The other places required 10-14k.
I don't know how to get the money so she isn't in pain anymore. None of the places will put me on any reasonable payment plan (hundreds a month, some require 50% down as well).
The fuck do I do? I could cash out all the random stocks, tiny retirement account, etc. for MAYBE 1500-2000. My income after all bills are paid is 0 or slightly negative.

Anyways, dental implants run about $2000 a tooth. It takes a few visits so it can't be done in a tourism trip. Just wait until they fall out, tell her to stop smoking, and get used to dentures.
