Right let's say there's a bubble in a market and it's about to collapse.
In this instance I'm going to refer to the market as watches.
Ok, so pretend watches have gone crazy high in price over the years after everyone's been going out and buying rolexes because their friends have one. Suppliers jack up the price because of demand and the bubble's about to burst as the market corrects itself.
How would you could cash in on this burst?
One example I could think of would be to buy rolexes in the dip, but these watches are £100,000+ each and that's not viable.
What else could you do?

BONUS: Those that are helpful and provide a method of contact can get in on this with me

Sell a put on watch contracts?

These watches are vintage and not concerned or affected by financial markets.
>>
This is a shit example because watches are useless and nobody needs them in this day and age. I mean, we've got cell phones. Get with the times, grandpa.

I bet you're one of those supreme gentleman types that thinks every man should own a straight razor, a few flannels, a watch, and an overpriced pair of "heritage boots".

So you're basically a fucking faggot.

Should I pursue Business or Medicine?

If I pursued Business, I wouldn't go to college. I would live with my parents, work full time, acquire capital, start a business, fail/succeed, and repeat. I work a minimum wage job and have saved $12,000 in the past year.
If I pursued Medicine, I would work my ass off during my 20-30s, but I would always get paid at least $200k.

>Business
>High risk high reward
>Lots of freedom
>No guaranteed success
>Extremely random

>Medicine
>Low risk medium reward
>Limited freedom (college, medical school, residency).
>Long hours. Lots of dick sucking.
>Guaranteed success (once you are accepted into medical school)
>At least $200k/year once I finish residency
>Insane job security

Which one should i pick?

My social skills are not stellar. I'm a bit awkward, but I can work in a team and be normal. I don't think I'm persuasive or confident enough to convince people to invest in my business.

I'm by no means an expert on anything but iirc, med isn't actually guaranteed either. It's dependant on test scores and fellowship to get accepted at a hospital and reputation if doing private practice or specialist

When people became retards. My roommate was spouting off about how he likes crowd sourcing sites because it makes him feel like hes helping his fellow man. Has no interest in learning the stock market though. He could throw his money away on it and at least have a chance on making it back.

I thought about kickstarting a hedge fund. People will give you money just to give it to you and you don't have to return it. Trying to get my buddies sister to do it since she's black and kick starter retards eat that shit up. You don't even have to have a good hedge fund because none of your investors expect any return.

What is the biggest obstacle and detriment to success?

Is it going on /pol/ and listening to Jew memes?

Spending excessive time on 4chan?

Videogames?

As a 62-year-old employer at a small company who has hired many young people, I can honestly say that the vast majority of you are lazy and too entitled to hold down any job.

Out of the 20+ people I've hired as a business owner, there was only 1 young person who I thought was sort of decent, but even he's not up to my standards.

This is simply what employers want in an employee:

- Must have a college degree in a hard science with a 3.7+ GPA
- Must have 5+ recommendations
- Must have at least 5+ years of experience
- Must have won prizes
- Must have good social skills and amazing quantitative abilities
- Must know useful programming.
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends occasionally without pay.
- Must be prompt and be able to handle criticisms.
- Must understand that I will give bad and false reviews to his future employers so that s/he doesn't move to other companies

As I've said, out of the 20+ young people I've hired, only 1 has come close to my requirements. This is for a $9/hour with no benefits receptionist job.
He was a math and econ double major at a top 20 university and he fixed a security vulnerability in my website when it was hacked. Unfortunately, he left after 2 years. I don't know how he got a different job, though. I gave him terrible references so other bosses wouldn't hire him.

Why can't young people meet my standards? I think a lot of you are too entitled and are unwilling to learn the necessary skills to get jobs these days.

Interesting post but doesn't mean shit. I'm 25 and have held a job since I was 15. I got into sales at 18 and I not only make a killing but motherfuckers love me.

I know you're a neet trying to make a point about job requirements but my advice to you would be to go into sales. Apply for sales jobs not matter what experience they require. We literally hire neets all of the time because you can teach anyone to be a salesman.

2nd week of February, decided to start an account with Kraken. (eth floating $3-$5)

4 days later, try to get verified with Tier 3, fails. They were not clear about the ID requirements. On their website it stats "color id with birthdate visible". Reupload my ID.

Another 4 business days later, Kraken rep tells me that they were sorry, and have notified the verification team to update the language on their website to be clear about requirements.

Try to add my bank account for synapse pay. Fails..."internal error". Email Kraken again. In the mean time, after 3 days, I finally got it to work.

4 business days later, Gives me a whole list of requirements, including the way you type in bank information, etc; all which were irrelevant to me.

5 days later today, the wire transfer information still says "pending". I called my bank to ensure nothing was wrong, they said they haven't even received any sort of notification for a transfer.

eth now @ $11.

FUCK KRAKEN. I hope these people die of cancer. I should've known better than to trust the work ethic of a company based out of San Francisco.

Pic represents me (oldie or goodie).

Fuck all of the hyped-up bitcoin and ethereum threads. I need a currently-cheap 'dark horse' crypto to buy lots of. Tell me which lesser-hyped ones you think will have high value in the future, and why

Right now my money's on Monero. Cryptonote technology, not a bitcoin clone like most others, one of the top privacy-centric coins that's even used on the dark web

inb4 worthless magic money shitcoin "lemme complain about crypto threads even though /biz/ was specifically made to contain crypto threads"

Dude, bitcoin is dying and so are its copies. Ethereum is the only thing ahead of the game. Once china will recognize that price won't go up with halving, it'll crash down to 100-200.
>>
>>1125301

MaidSafe or Monero. The rest are trash.
>>
>>1125301
I don't know anything about Monero, but I feel like the privacy ethic of a cryptocurrency is a lot less drawing than it used to be. Being that privacy-centric seems like it's kind of in a niche market for libertarian paranoid schizophrenics. The anonymity of bitcoin, I think, was what drew in its initial fan base, which was not very large, then didn't really gain a lot of popularity until the layman realized how valuable it was. It's my opinion that the majority doesn't care about their monetary privacy as much as the anons on this board do, though they should.
I'm not an expert or anything that's just my two cents. Good question though I'm interested in the discussion
