>tfw born at the right time to have access to so much information for so little
>tfw so much opportunity
Sure does feel good, not trying to sound like a cocky cunt but can we all agree that the early to late 90's and now is the best age for aspiring /biz/nesss men to be born. Also general business thread i guess.

Enjoy bankruptcy. Good advice, get into the business doing the thing you're trying to do first to figure out how things are run before you try to do compete against others.

I'll tell you something that I never told anyone in this board.
I make about 15k ~ 20k/month working less than 9hrs/week, but last year I was making 30 ~ 40 and Christmas I don't make less than 100k.
I look for online stores that are almost broken, but have potencial. I offer my services to the owner/company. I make the sales skyrocket by marketing the site in the right way, taking care of social midia, promotions and etc.
I don't do any of those stuff, but I know people who do, so I hire then ( I pay). I just report to the owner/company every now and then about the sales.
I usually ask for 25% of the profit.
75% of something is better than 100% of anything.

how attainable is building a house like this? it's a render I think but it doesn't look that expensive one could build it for less than 5 million probably.

How big is it? I built a 5 bedroom, 3 bath house back in 2006 for only 700k. I could have easily made it look like the one in your pic

Depends where you live.

Labor is fucking cheap in USA because of all the cheap ethnic labor.

The same thing would probably cost about 5x more USD in Australia.

but would you really trust letting a bunch of working scum know where you live?

Why the fuck would I want 5 dollars?

Bit coin is worthless, how are you suppose to settle your debts with someone if they won't pay you back? Does the legal system defend agreements made with bitcoin?

All those businesses that trade in bitcoin are total idiots.

I bet it would be easy as fuck to fake a bitcoin on their point of sale device.

I just want to point out that the arch type of the rich white man owning and controlling everything is 100% false in the modern age.

http://www.cnbc.com/id/100865295

>But a 2009 study in the Harvard Business Review said women controlled 51.3 percent of wealth in America, which amounts to about $14 trillion in personal wealth. It projected their assets to grow to $22 trillion by 2019.

>The World Bank said women control only 1 percent of the world's wealth. But the Boston Consulting Group put the number at 27 percent.

Women control half the wealth and the banks are trying to push the story that only men control it because jews war against the white man

Monthly reminder that all bitcoin shills/bagholders are retarded and dont know what the fuck they are talking about.

This price prediction was made in 2014 about what the price of bitcoin would be in 2015. Not ONE SINGLE prediction was anywhere close. The lowest prediction coming from these 50 retards is that bitcoin would be $1k per coin. The highest is that it would be $100K PER BITCOIN. Topfuckingkek. Real price? It dropped to $250. This just shows how unpredictable and fickle the bitcoin market is and how shameless and stupid bitcoin shills are. Don't fall for the hype. The amount of bitcoin that will not enter the market due to the halving is less than the amount that gets traded in one day. The halving is almost as big of a meme as bitcoin is.

Hey /biz/

so my girlfriends mom makes her own kombucha.

it is really good. i've had several kinds on shelves and this is way better.

what is a typical really straightforward business model for this?

like the 4 or 5 major steps?

there could be problems because there is a tiny bit of alcohol in kombucha so apparently that can cause problems like at tradeshows.

i have no biz knowledge but it is really good and she is old and doesn't know how to go about it. i figured i would check here if you guys could help out.

obviously this will not be my end all be all to figure this out or to see if it is feasible or worthwhile to pursue.

we live in Pennsylvania, about an hour outside Philadelphia.

I just figured an old lady making her own kombucha with natural ingredients that tastes good would sell well.

she also used pic related for containers which is unique i guess.

thanks for any and all help

thank you for any constructive criticism.

sorry if this isn't the place to post this

not that I have any experience, but perhaps try selling at a farmer's market? Trendy hipster liberals who go to farmer's markets love trendy hipster foofy things like kombucha, and will pay a steep premium if you tell them it's all natural or whatever.
>>
>>1329938

probably not the best idea as it is a common craft good. Lots of work. Lots of risks.
>>
>>1329969
I've started making homemade bone broth lately. I saw a book on Amazon which said it would give you better hardons and increased energy, which was enough of a sell for me to give it a try. I've heard it's now the latest hipster trend, with "bone broth bars" opening in leftoid cities like New York to cater to trustifarian hipsters with more money than sense. Basically the new juice bar.

I wonder if there's a market for that at the farmer's market. It's pretty inexpensive to make, at about $3 per gallon for ingredients, and is fairly effortless since you just let it simmer in a pot for 24 hours, stirring occasionally. The hardest part is the bottling. It takes a long time so I imagine most people won't go through the effort. There could be an opportunity there to sell "organic, all natural, healthy, high nutrient, vitality boosting, other hipster-appealing buzzword bone broth". Hmmm.

How do I get good at Door to Door sales? This is my 2nd full week of doing it, and I haven't got any hits. It's a window cleaning company, but we offer other services such as roof washing, power washing, gutter cleaning, etc. My coworkers and I go to upscale neighborhoods where we know they have money for our services, but I'm just getting shit luck when it comes to actual leads. There's 5 of us right now, and the 2 girls in the group usually get 5 numbers or so a day each, but me and the other 2 guys get absolutely nothing. Is it just luck? Do people just trust girls more? how do I get people to buy my company's products?

yeah sometimes women have a advantage over a man in sales because of a pretty face. go to commercial areas and try to offer work there
>>
>>1329924
I had that thought myself, we've got some large commercial bids already (a car plant and some others), but how do I go about talking to someone at a commercial site? Should I just give our flyer and company info to the receptionist? Or try and talk to the most important person I can?
>>
>>1329935
Always try to talk to the decision maker. Receptionist will throw it away as soon as you turn your back.

Look up some info on getting past the "gatekeeper" in sales related google searches.
