Isn't the credit card limit very low? How could you buy 1500$ worth of it?
>Le Pen just got BTFO in the French Elections

What? I don't get it. Where the fuck is the dip?
Why precisely were you expecting them to dip...?

Why would the two things be correlated?

I was under the assumption crypto only rose during times of political uncertainty or fears of fiat currency collapsing.
Looks like thats not the case anymore

What could go wrong?
What's stopping someone from closing their position early?

Hey guys. Computer science kid here. Got some programming skills, and a comfy job that nets me more money than I know what to do with. Which implies, I can afford to lose money right now.
Is making a trading bot in Crypto a feasible way to make some passive income? Do you guys have any documentation that you can point towards, or some information about economic fundamentals that I would need to learn? I've been playing around with the poleneix API and it seems promising.
I'm sure people have done this before, but what I'm going to do different is combining it with the 4chan API and scanning /biz/ for mentions of memecoins and integrating it into my bot. Thoughts?
>>2042255
Thats a bullshit plan. You should hold some crypto, tho.
Eh. /biz/ is a staging ground for a few 4chan based pump and dump discords. They shill here a lot, so it's questionable as to how you'll deal with that. There are also dedicated fudders, who will try to push down the price of the coin. It will be interesting to see what the metrics on that would be when comparing FUD vs FOMO.
Perhaps you wanna look at how TA works first. Learn how it draws the candlestick mathematically. Also try to understand other indicators as well. Get the fundamental good, you'll know what to do next.
How does taxing work with crypto? I know you have to report it to the IRS but are the rates high or low? I just don't want to be screwed at the end of the year if I lose all my gains and have to pay a large amount.
Capital gains tax, Google is your friend
>>2042170
How much it was worth when you got it = X
How much after you sold it = Y
X - Y = Z
Z x T%
T is whatever capital gain tax your country has.
If you do not sell, there's nothing to tax.
>>2042191
What if I don't report them? :^) also would I have to do it right after I sold for fiat at an exchange or only after I transferred the money back to my bank account?
Post your strategies for trading in Canada if you live here.
1. How do you get your money to the exchange of your choice?
2. What if you want to trade AltCoins?
3. How do you cash out dodging the most amount of fees possible?
Ideally I'm trying to find the most access to various coins with the easiest way to cash out.
>>2042155
I deposit USD on Kraken directly from my RBC account, and then buy whatever coins Kraken has listed. Most of my investment has gone into XRP because of the limitless upside and low price.
I insist on using Kraken, they claim to have full capitalization, and I won't take the risk with other shitty ass exchanges. I don't really speculate on the new shitcoins.
>>2042155
>1. How do you get your money to the exchange of your choice?
https://www.quadrigacx.com/
It's for Canada
Transfer from there to any other exchange
I was buying on coinbase and transferring to bitfinex because eth was worth like 5% more there, but currently the difference is negligible. I'm going to submit my verification stuff to Kraken today and just start buying there directly.
What /biz/ness ventures did you miss out on that you regret?

Hey guys id like some honest answers please
Ive been trading forex for a few years without much success, im thinking about giving stock trading a go now, do I have a better chance with stocks to make some real money or is it the same as forex?
>>2042113
bump
>>2042113
You'll have a better chance with stocks. The risk is also higher, but at least you're doing business with legit people.
Forex trading online is a scam. If you read the fine print, they will say it's all a simulation. If you think about it, whatever software they're using to simulate the Forex market could easily manipulated in the broker's favor.
