>Le Pen just got BTFO in the French Elections
>Bitcoin and Ethereum are still rising
What? I don't get it. Where the fuck is the dip?
Why precisely were you expecting them to dip...?

Why would the two things be correlated?

I was under the assumption crypto only rose during times of political uncertainty or fears of fiat currency collapsing.
Looks like thats not the case anymore

I thought the BTC climb had something to do with unrest in China.
I haven't seen a single person suggest that it was related to Le Pen.

Cryptos are expanding because money is flowing in from people who want a moon ride. The drive up in BTC and ETH are driving up the other cryptos because the people investing in the memecoins keep finding they can afford more. It's all well and good until the meme coins crash because you can't actually do anything with them and people rush to the safe havens.

I mean political uncertainty will also drive the price up, but you need a fear of capital controls, and that will only work until governments catch on and stop people from doing it (if they can).
