Two small deer can be spotted near my house and they seem to have gotten used to seeing me.
The first time they ran away as soon as they saw me but now after seeing me for the fifth time they allow me to get quite close. I can stand 25 meters away from them and they won't run away.
So am i getting them used to humans? Can they get used to humans that fast? Should i chase them away so they do not get used to humans?

When they become used to humans they become pests. They'll tear up yards; sometimes they will attack humans because they either think we have food or because we startled them. If they start living closer to humans, they'll get hit by cars and you'll have deer carcasses everywhere.
My town has a huge fucking deer problem and it's like this. I have deer literally walk up to me even while I have my crazy-ass dog tethered to me barking his head off, because people in my town have been feeding them. Some guy told me he encountered a woman buying cheap dog food who whispered "it's for the deer". There are deer carcasses all over town, and that draws in bigger predators like lions and bears. The town council is considering letting people bow hunt in town, the problem is so bad. I fucking hate deer so fucking much fuck fuck fuck

About 5 months ago I adopted a 2mons old holland lop from a nearby rescue. She's pretty sweet and doesn't do much to irritate me. Kinda looks like the ones in the photo. She's good company when my boyfriend leaves town.
I think she is the cutest fucking thing ever. However, sometimes I will become so overwhelmed with her cuteness I actually tease and occasionally hurt her. My heart will start racing and I will do things to scare her, like spin her in circles or flip her on her back. When she's really freaked out, I'll rub her ears together which she hates, often to the point where she will yelp. I force myself to stop then.
I adore this pet. She loves her life and is still incredibly affectionate to me. 90% of the day, I am fine--I only get these emotions when it is late at night. I am worried I am going to injure her at one point. How can I repress these emotions? What can I do to force myself to avoid doing this? What are constructive, non-harmful ways I can circumvent this 'cute aggression?'
I am fully aware people will probably call me a monster and shit like that--I completely am aware of the shittiness of my actions and am similarly repulsed by it. It keeps me up at night. She still shows love to me every day, despite doing this. Thanks, guys.

Hey /an/ how do you deal with people who want to feed your dog? Do you feed your pupper scraps? Or some gourmet shit? Straight kibble or high end dog chow? Discuss in this thread.
Also, how do you deal with people who want to feed your dog? I have a new puppy no older than 2 and I am trying to get him on a nice healthy diet of dry/wet dog stuff but I don't want him to be a beggar like my brother's scrappy dog.
My dad and mom paid the initial expenses for the dog (wopping $45 from shelter) plus an extra hundred bucks for all the works and dog foods treats leash etc. and I didn't pay because I am a broke student "in between jobs". However, I am the caretaker of the dog 24/7 and my parents say he is my dog my responsibility but then my dad gets hella fucking annoying asking does he want to try this.. cheese, popcorn all sorts of shit and I say NO every time and then my dad says aww look at him he's hungry can be just try a piece etc.
Should I beat up my dad? He's 65 I don't think he would make it

In all honesty if you don't want your dog to beg for "people food" then start reinforcing this when they are young. If your puppy has never had table scraps, or has never been hand fed then later in life it will probably keep this behavior.
That's the explanation I have to give people when I ask them nicely not to feed my dog.

So I have came to hell today because everyone else is fucking retarded. I woke up to my geck's turd, with about 10-13 blood spots around it (fairly light in color)

I guess a little background -
- yes, she has a warm and cool side in a 10 gallon tank. I occasionally wet the cool side for moisture. However her heat lamp hasn't been on recently, being it is summer.
She's been eating good, and yes I cover her worms in calcium / D3 powder. Shed just a few days ago.
However she has a bit of a history with mouth rot. And aside from a the constipation bit, she behaves as any normal gecko would. She doesn't seem affected by it.
Is it dehydration? Someone pointed me in that direction. But they aren't a doctor.
Her name is Martha. Not damaging to her health, just felt like it was important.
Help my autistic ass and poor baby geck with some hints to the issue? Anyone else have this problem?

I usually am really active, and get bored easily, but recently I've stopped going out and this summer I've become one hell of a lazy bastard. Since then I have trouble gathering up the energy and discipline that I need to go out and do shit.
I always had a dog in my life, but they were always lazy couch potatoes. I've had a bichon frisé/shih tzu mix, a boston terrier, and a pug, that I still have. Now, I am thinking on getting a Border Collie, as there is a breeder with two pups available near me. I know these are highly energetic dogs, and that they can get aggressive when bored. I want to avoid that, and so, I feel like the dog will give me some incentive to actually go out to the mountains like I always tell myself to. Is this a good idea? Thanks.

No, for various reasons including the one you're asking but also you have no experience with herding dogs such as border collies. They deserve more than exercise. They do best with having a 'job' and walking them once a day isn't going to cut it.
Just go to the gym. A dog isn't going to fix you. You have to commit to changing and it wouldn't be fair to a pet you don't know you can commit too. I walk my dogs 3-6 times a day. They're perfectly well behaved with less or none but aside from a very physically demanding job + a second job I have, it's more for me since I don't trust myself to get used to slacking.
