I found this little buddy eating my nectarine at home, having my doubts identifying it. Looks like a ruby tiger moth, but I'm unsure. The body is a bit black and there's no other features other than its hair.
Any idea what this is?

Too bad we don't have bugguy around anymore. He'd be able to help you. Also cute.
>>2479373
>bugguy
Absolutely loathed that autist when he was here, now I kinda miss him. Like Irish Stew Guy on /ck/
any tips on how to keep a nano reef

What else glows except for scorpions?

RoundUp
My pupper is a heavy chewer, especially with squeaky toys.
What's the most durable squeaker I can get for her? She goes right for the squeaker and breaks any toy I get within the first day, unless it doesn't squeak. Then she just doesn't care about it.
Uh not sure about squeaking toys, but I know Nyla bones are pretty durable
>have a childhood dog
>dog is aggro af
>dad get an idea
>it won't so aggro if it's fat
>start giving him meat thinking it'll go fat
>it just gets muscular
I don't remember too much after

I need to know what happened...
>I don't remember too much after
after what? the dog raped you?
Hey /an/ need advice
Cant get a pic because she doesnt like being restrained, but my bird has some bright red (not blood) under her wing. She acts fine but whenever she flaps her wings i can see the red. I restrained her and lifted her wing and around the top is red (shes a white parakeet.)
Should I be worried or is this just her skin?
That is one super cute crabber
>>2478866
It's molting, you are just seeing it's skin which is red.
>>2478866
That's a weird lookin' bird OP
What kind of snake is this. Is it indigenous to SW US or from a store?
>>2478860
Texas rat snake
It's a gopher snake. I hope you weren't the one who killed it.
>>2478872
No. Saw it in the road walking my dog. Odd sight to see in an Albuquerque suburb.
Give me ONE good reason about why raptors are protected. They deserve to die as slowly and as painfully as possible, and then be wiped out of the Earth's surface. Raptors are useless, ugly, and smelly. Anything they do, cats and snakes do way better, and they actually do look nice.
Seriously, is there anybody who likes raptors unironically that's not a fat autist? Specially eagles, they're the dirtiest, shittiest, animal in the world. Why dod they choose the bald eagle as America's national bird? Should have been a turkey or a crane, not the worst animal in the world.
Anyone knows how much does Monodelphis domestica / Gray short-tailed opossum cost in petshops?
I've had them.
They aren't bad but they ain't great.
>they have a specialized diet that is pricey and must be ordered and supplemented with a bunch of other
shit
>not mean but not affectionate or cuddly. They don't care
>you have to move very slowly around them. Move a finger too fast and they go in defensive mode. They come out of it just as fast but you'd be surprised how easy it is to spook them
>live 4-8 years
>I never got bit but their teeth are very strong. One of mine ripped through reinforced cardboard and escaped within seconds
I wouldn't get them again. Their diet is a pain and there is just better small animals out there.
I work with animals and I'm asking because I can get few hundreds of them in Europe relatively cheaply and wonder for what price can they be offered in the US
>>2478818
Mine were $100 each. Exotics really aren't a great market here unless you're living in Florida selling primates.
Anybody know what type of plant this is? Found near gulf shores, Alabama
Anyone know anything about a comic about the rediscovery of these insects? I remember reading one years ago but can't track it down no matter how I arrange the search terms.
>>2478545
yep, though wikipedia says the range has expanded.
>>2478549
they're coming this way
