Do any of you feel like your life would be completely different if you witnissed something that was beyond a shadow of a doubt paranormal?

for those of you that think you have, how has it changed your life?

I think that if I experienced something like that, my perspective on life and the world around me would be completely changed. I don't know what I would do afterwards, but I feel like I would never be satisfied just living a normal life going forward.

So this is my first post on X, I'm not sure if this thread would belong here or on /lit/. I'll go first.

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3749 is to be contained in an airtight plastic container, the dimensions of which should be made specifically to the size of the individual object. It is also mandatory that any personnel who unseal the container or otherwise physically interact with SCP-3749 should wear protective hazard suit, and immediately undergo sterilization. The containment team should dig SCP-3749 and the surrounding earth out of the ground, rather than plucking or pulling it, as it could otherwise spore off or continue spreading. Absolutely no personnel of the SCP foundation should ingest SCP-3749 for any reason!


Description: SCP-3749 is a pink fungus with a yellow blob pattern on it. At first observation the object seems to have psychedelic properties, but upon further inspection one is made aware the effect of it are much more real.
SCP-3749 seems to have some yet unknown properties. People who have ingested it say that after they come down from their “trip” they would still have objects or injuries that they experienced in their hallucinations. Objects range from gloves, to books that have no record of existing, to dismembered body parts, and injuries range from minor bruises, to scrapes, and even broken bones.
The contents of the “trip” of users of SCP-3749 seem to be made up of different things from the person's life ‘twisted’ into something different. Such as one’s mother attempting to murder them, or an old childhood friend building a new car for them. For that reason specifically, it is important that no other object or subject under SCP control come into possession of SCP-3749
Objective analysis of the actions of users of SCP-3749 is still unknown, as it seems interaction with someone under it’s effects causes the observer to come under it’s effects as well.

I have a feeling something unnatural is in this old house of mine. I frequently hear noises in midday when no one but me is home, or night. Just a few minutes ago I just looked up. I saw this weird thing for a split second. It kind of looked like a cardboard cutout of starman from earthbound. Weird, right? It was most likely something different entirely, but I'm still kind of freaked out. So other than ridicule do you guys have any kind of response or advice? I'll post any information (that probably won't) be needed.

In April, a video was uploaded to 4Chan titled "01." Since then, 6 videos have been uploaded onto the same channel that reveal encrypted audio and textual messages that my friend and I have tried to decrypt. For the past 5 videos, we've discovered that the messages seem to be about a man being hit by his girlfriend. He also seems to regret something but we don't know what.

The 6th part was uploaded today and I haven't yet started working on it but I always make sure to post to 4Chan first. Please, if anyone will help us solve these encryptions to the videos, we would be extremely thankful. Not enough people know about this series of videos. Help us get it known.

There's no actual sighting story attached to this, but I have a feeling I saw this thing when I was a kid.

I grew up in Sheridan Park Ct., Bexley OH which is a (stunning) 3 hour drive from Flatwoods.

I am 25 now and (was) your typical, jaded as fuck skeptic but whenever I focus on this place, or look at the picture of the thing... I am filled with just an imaginable terror coupled with supression and confusion.

For the longest time I thought fuck maybe I was just molested or something, or something terrible happened, but no, after you have eliminated the obvious, only one option remains. Suddenly /x/ makes a lot of sense to me, nowadays.

It's just some people witness things the mind cannot grasp, and it leaves such an impression...Clearly the age of the person doesn't matter because this tormented me for years and caused me to do a lot of dissociatives, psychedelics, religious, spiritual soul searching, meditation

Something was clearly eating me up inside, I knew, but the closer I got to talking about it, the greater the distance I would create amongst those I talked about it with.
Mainly because when it felt me or a therapist made progress, it was revealed to be a big "I just don't know, but I do feel better...closer to the truth."

I just never got the satisfaction though of hitting the nail on the head.

When I focus on this place...and see that thing... and lump them together....I at least find peace at long last.

I am a talented artist who has never been able to draw from imagination (autism?) only amalgations of memory and things I've seen and felt and thus....
