Ok /x/ hear me out. Eclipse happened on august 21st, Hurricane Harvey started august 25th, and the floods in Texas occurred on august 26th. Now if you look up 21 25 26 you come up with Luke 21:25-26 to which says in the NIV translation 25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken."

Work has slowed down, so need stuff to read. I like trashy, pulpy horror, supernatural, or magical-realism-esque stuff. Not big into lovecraftian prose, so it's gotta be something my ADHD mind can stay attached to. Loved Ito Junji's work, looking for more stuff either graphical or just novel with protagonists against something they have no idea how to deal with, but either learn to avoid it or fight it. Love short stories too. Richard Mattheson is the shit.

Keep a pad of paper by your bed for notes.
When you wake up write calmly grab your a pen & paper and write whatever you remember (lucid or not)
Do reality checks during the day to test if you are dreaming (try putting your finger through your palm ) it will go through if youre dreaming.

If you decide to invade the dreams of other people be careful of whose dream you enter, especially because it's hard to control which one you'll enter because it isn't based on proximity to yourself. Some beings out there are able to permanently erase your dream self from existence if you try to invade your thoughts, they are perfectly aware of your presence and can identify you as a lucid dreamer the moment you enter their dream. If they get you, you'll either lose your subconscious or die in the waking world. If you encounter them and manage to escape, just hope that they don't seek you out in the future.
