A Small Introduction
Aleph formerly "Aum Shinrikyo" is a Japanese cult group (recognized officially by United States and other countries as a terrorist group) that was founded by Shoko Asahara (born Chizuo Matsumoto) in 1984. it originally started as a yoga and meditation class, which he and his wife ran. in 1986 he visited India and while there he claimed to have received enlightenment when in the Himalayas. After returning to Japan in 1987 he renamed his group "Aum Shinrikyo". when translated "Aum" means "powers of destruction and creation in the universe" and "Shinrikyo" is "teaching of the supreme truth".

Now that we got that out the way, we are going to talk about what Aleph/Aum Shinrikyo is most infamous for. March 1995, members of the cult release sarin (Sarin is a liquid commonly used as a chemical weapon due to its lethality even in low amounts, with effects occurring as fast as under 10 minutes from a lethal dose) on five trains in the Tokyo subway system. the attack kills 13, seriously injures 54 and affects more than 900 people, although some claim the number to be up to 6,000 people. Although this may be the most infamous act, the group is responsible for others such crimes like a killing of a member in 1994. On may 16th, leader Shoko Asahara was arrested and later sentence to death. Now the thing that i honestly find the most confusing is how the cult is still up and running. With a report done by the Keisatsu-Cho (The Japanese National Police Agency) it had stated it had 1,650 active members and some living in "compounds". So i wanted to know what you guys think? honest followers of Aum Shinrikyo teachings or delusional people? I just used astral projection to travel to an alternate reality.

I felt my body sleeping, vibrating, couldnt move then suddenly felt prescences around me. I thought they were aliens or something so I fought as hard as I could and managed to take some of their energy to open this hiuge wormhole that looked like the inside of a tornado or hurricane, it ate the wall of my room and I ran into it.

I was in this lab and I heard someone following me and trying to "take me back" but I manged to fight them again with energy (its weird to describe) They got mad and said "fine but dont say I didnt warn you, this reality will tear you apart"

Suddenly I heard something coming again in the lab, it was scary voices..I thought it was aliens or something but I was shocked. It was normal humans.

They greeted me, I knew them but I didnt, they knew me.... They were my colleagues, we were in some sort of laboratory and they joked around..it was so happy, I felt home. One of them kissed me and everyone cheered but it was obvious we were just starting to date. One of them told me to get to work, gave me a computer and some papers and I had no idea what for but I "knew" what I had to do, it was some sort of date management, I had to write down and record dates and appointments and meetings.

I looked around, so happy and I felt the presence again but I let it take me..I was in shock I had never felt this way before, then suddenly I didnt want to leave so I fought in the portal and ran again then I was talking to some people on the internet like I was on here but it was different.

The internet in this place was inside your head, like i was wearing a chip or something, I told everyone the same story and no one believed me, I was at my job aswell but this was some outside factory where we built highways of some sort of cloth/textile..maybe spaceship wings or something strange, it was like fiber made of tiny nanostuff but huge so built outside, it was constantly moving like a river.

Anyone else in the Maryland area think birds are acting kind of weird lately?

>wake up, let cat out so he can go to the bathroom, hunt food, etc. (I put cat food out for him but he seems to prefer the hunt)

>strangely cat isn't going for the easy kill, just staring

>whatever, leave cat and bird to his business
>later, driving to work
>wooded area, but road's clear enough and been there long enough that the animals really should be used to cars going by by now and not go in the path of them

Birds in this area are usually very timid and avoid people at all costs, this doesn't normal. Should I be worried, /x/?

I want some top tier /x/ reading, please no .jpeg of "tha indigo pill" or something similar.
In pic related, the books that really changed my world view (author in parentheses) would be:
Parapsychology, philosophy, spirituality (David ray Griffey); Synchronicity (Alan combs and mark holland); cosmos and psyche (Richard tarnas); return to life (Jim b tucker). biocentrism (Robert lanza); Archetypal cosmos (Kieran degrice).
These works aren't too edgy, and have a sort of academic writing depth and style. They fit in my "changed how I viewed reality" category.

The chaos magic/postmodern edgy stuff like Robert Anton Wilson and Phil hine and antero alli is fun but somewhat shallow (reads more like a pamphlet). The theosophy work is very similar (Almost like the same subculture in different times). enjoyable but more like an initiation than the in depth studying.

Please share your top few books, share your /x/ tier shelf recommendation and critiques of mine and others.

P.s. The old occult stuff like turba philosophorum and sepher yetsera are great readings but have been discussed to death here. I'm more looking for recent works that elaborate on theory
