>Engadget: In fact, distancing Arms from Wii Sports Boxing seemed to be the entire point of the game's spring preview event. The company is proud of the game's motion controls but stresses that it's different from the simple waggle mechanic that defined the Wii's minigame showcase.
>IGN: This is not Wii Sports Boxing. In fact, carelessly throwing lots of punches more often than not leads to failing in Arms....I can tell you that what I played felt good. It doesn’t require a lot of motion to play and the controls were better than I expected.
What will shitposters resort to next?
Non-Motion Control set up:
>As impressive as the motion controls are it's also possible to play Arms using a standard controller. In this configuration, you move your player using the left analog stick while attacking with the ZR and ZL or A and B buttons. The X and Y buttons allow you to jump and dash while your flurry attack is unleashed using L and R. Blocking is assigned to a click of the left stick. It works well enough but feels less engaging than the dual stick motion control setup. There is a sense of granularity available when punching using the motion controls that is difficult to replicate using the analog stick. Curving punches feels less natural and the game just isn't as engaging in this mode. Still, it's great to have the option and it's likely that different players will find their own preference.

>Blocking is a click of thelefg stick
Not a fan of that. Should be on a button that you can activate at lightning speed but clicking analogs always feel delayed/harder than regular buttons.

So from that statement its a more strategic Wii boxing?
Megaman X9 fucking when?
You sure you want Capcom to make it?
At this point, I'm wondering if Capcom's main building isn't just an empty husk. Most of the Resident Evil remakes are probably secretly coming from Platinum Games.
hamster genocide fucking when?
I know you're out there. Explain your arguments against the PS2. Why do you not believe the fact that it is one of the two greatest consoles of all time? What did you play instead of the PS2? How can you deny it's GOAT library?
>PS2 haters
What year do you think it is?
>>376903586
It's really overrated considering how badly it ran most games.
>>376903639
The year that gen 6 first time console owners can eloquently speak their piece
>>376903753
When you say most games do you just mean SOTC and Max Payne? Those are the only 3 I can remember running horribly.
what games let me use animals as weapons?
>>377296873
ugh
If ten (10) unique posters ask for the movie I'll stream it
>>377296938
yes
Diablo 3 Witch Doctor.

Who cares, fuck them.
Mitsuru is so ugly
>>376903507
Shut up, Fuuka.
>>376903876
Fuuka is ugly and has an equally ugly voice, but Mitsuru is worse.
>>376904078
You lie.
Games that deserve every bit of love they get
Every game from that other thread except Final Fantasy XV.
>>376903410
>>376903534
agree with both
I thought I'd lost faith in video games because
>The Last of Us
>The Witcher III
>Overwatch
>Uncharted Trilogy + 4
>Tales of Berseria (loved Tales of the Abyss to death though)
>NieR Automata
were all boring as fuck to me and I thought I just didn't enjoy video games anymore. Then I played Breath of the Wild, got absolutely addicted, then played Persona 5 and couldn't put it down either
What are your favorite best JRPGs for comfy grinding? You get bonus points if they include cute anime girls.
Elona plus is pretty chill if you like roguelikes except without permadeath. Can start with a pet little girl.
>>376903375
Streak grinding in FFXII will always be my favorite. Music, girls, hybrid action/turn-based interface, plus tweaking gambits to be as effective as possible gives the satisfaction of gain without too much of the hassle of repetition.
Hyperdimension Neptunia is pretty good.
What's the most useful confidant and why is Hifumi?
>>377295734
Persona 5's characters are so damn shitty compared to 3's and 4's. Those characters were easily likable, I feel like I have to force myself to like 5's
>>377295734
Kawakami with her boner inducing massages.
>>377295828
who are you trying to convince with your shit taste?
RPG maker games are wonderful.
What game is this?
PC gaming was the biggest mistake in history
Also free online allows every low life to play games
this, I can't stand that poor "people" are allowed to enjoy the things I enjoy
Shit thread, shit effort, let's talk about something else instead.
Mechwarrior V is in development, unfortunately still by Piranha but if we're lucky paid mech-packs won't be a thing. Anybody dusting off previous entries in the series? Just finished 3 and compared to 4 it feels a lot easier
>>376903196
But who is Justin?
Who the fuck is Sen, anyways?
He owns the fortress
its the gollum on top
It doesn't matter who he is. What matters was his plan.
Can we all agree Automata had the best soundtrack?

How do people get excited over le exclusives? Most of them are so mediocre and niche that it doesn't even matter. Nearly every good game in modern gaming is a multiplat.
pic unrelated
you're wrong though tbqh
they're the only reason to buy one console over the other ya dumb fuck.
>>376903036
>Nearly every good game in modern gaming is a multiplat.
No
It actually seems like the reverse, many very good games that are exclusive (H:ZD, BoTW, TLoU) get shit on non-stop by all the platformwarriors from the platforms that the exclusives don't belong to.
>Ruslan Sokolovsky, a blogger who was arrested for played Pokémon Go in a Russian church, was found guilty today of charges of “violating religious feelings.”
>Sokolovsky posted a video of himself playing the augmented reality game late last year in a way that Russian authorities said showed “disrespect for society.” Prosecutors had asked for a sentence of 3.5 years in prison. The judge in the case, Yekaterina Shoponyak, granted the prosecutors their wish and gave the blogger a 3.5-year sentence.
If you could outlaw one video game from being displayed or discussed in public, which would you ban?
>>376604294
>violating religious feelings
Why do religious people always go psycho when you don't believe in their imaginary sky wizard?
I'd ban /pol/posting on /v/.
>violating religious feelings
Come now, Russia. It's perfectly fine to arrest faggots for simply existing, you don't need to make up some excuse for it.
Anyone got a recomendation for a "walk around and craft stuff so that you can eat and not die" game?
Preferably one where I can build a comfy base?
So far I am looking at
> Stranded Deep
> The Forest
> Subsitance
> Subnautica
> The Long Dark
Any opinions on which are better than which?
Dragon's Dogma
