were all boring as fuck to me and I thought I just didn't enjoy video games anymore. Then I played Breath of the Wild, got absolutely addicted, then played Persona 5 and couldn't put it down either

Beat this game a few days ago. It's a decent game but I don't think it's anywhere near as good as you plebs make it out to be.

>game is piss easy and you should pretty much never get a gameover
>game lets you carry 12 personas in a game in which the movepool is pretty fucking small, making it extremely easy to cover all elements plus additional things like buffs, heals and some status effects on one character
>status effects are mostly a waste of time since they never work on bosses and you can defeat the majority of regular battles within the first turn (only time I remember using status effects frequently was using forget on anubis)
>speaking of bosses, the just about every single one of them is simple as fuck to fight and fought in exactly the same way: buff/debuff while shitting out damage/heals and occasionally defending against the telegraphed heavy attack. The game occasionally asks you to remove a party member to perform some action but all this really means is that you fight without one of your damage dealers for a couple of turns.

Why is this game getting 9s/10s?

I liked the game but honestly the newfags are unbearable. Reminds me of when Dark Souls came out on PC. Any sense of community just died
