What is this Rėddit bullshit?
Real talk - do you think that Monster Hunter World will fix the problems the previous games had? I did try to get into the series once or twice but it always felt like I have to put up with so much arbitrary bullshit that it wasn't fun. Granted, I didn't play the 'newest' ones yet so maybe it got better in the meanwhile, but this will come out on stuff I actually own.
What 'problems' are you even referring to?
>>380614337
>Capcom
>fixing problems
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAIf anything they will just add more.

Couldnt handle few gathering quests in 1Star village
I asked earlier, but didn't get any responses. How do I reinvigorate the love for video games that I once had?
hope is more or less lost. move onto other things or make great games yourself.
Do other things. Everything in moderation. No matter how much you like pizza, if you had pizza three times a day, every day for a month, you'd end up fucking hating pizza.
Read a book. Hell, read a whole series. (I suggest the Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons.) Start learning a foreign language. Go hiking. Start jogging or lifting. Join a Meetup group and go do something you've never done before. Do literally anything other than play vidya 24/7, and when you finally DO play some vidya, it's a mildly new fun thing instead of being the same thing you've already done for 50 hours this week alone.
Pick your games based on gameplay rather than superfluous shit like waifus and edgelord plotlines.
I have £16 on steam, dunno what to get. Any suggestions? I like The Witcher 3, Grand strategies, Dark Souls, metal gear solid, etc. gimme suggestions

Shill thread. Why won't you try battleborn?
>>380613268
Because there's such a stigma to it, even though the game is surprisingly enjoyable.
It's like fucking a fat chick.
Because it's shit.
somehow, my free time is still worth more than battleblunder
Why are the Harry Potter games so comfy?
I haven't played them personally, but school settings tend to be comfy in video games and Hogwarts especially is pretty comfy.
>>380614035
Name 3 games that take place in a school. Bully doesn't count.
>>380613210
Because being a wizard in a big school full of secrets is comfy as hell. The castle itself is the reason why it's comfy. This concept is even better for a game than for a book.
You have the sections where you are alone in dark, scary places, but then later you see all your friends and have to go to lessons. This is comfy too.
Destiny is one of the biggest disappointments in the history of gaming. A "by the numbers" generic shooter which heavily relies on rehashed content and doing the same fucking thing for hundreds of hours. A repetitive, unimaginative, boring grind-fest with a "story" that is rather on a level of a primitive fan-fiction, and with almost zero worthy or interesting content. The only good things in the game are the gunplay, the music, the standard multiplayer (PVP), and maybe the art design, but these things don't make up for all the things that the game lacked.
Destiny 2 looks totally the same, but this time they try to put in a story with a wannabe hipster main character that tries so hard to be an edgier Nathan Drake, but fails miserably. Bungie is dead.
Many people like shooting combined with MMO grinds. Not all video games are made specifically for you.
>>380613262
Many people like derivative, predictable and "broad-audience" oriented shitty stories too, but that still doesn't make those stories interesting or worth telling.
Actually; Destiny has the best-feeling guns in gaming, the best enemy design in FPS history and the best cooperative gameplay in its genre.
THIS is a mario game now?
Yes, you can see Mario in the gif

You there.
Yeah, you.
Go play video games. Right now. Go. Do it.
We both know you're just "browsing /v/ for a little bit before playing video games". You're just looking for that one little push to get you to fire up a game. Consider this that push.
Fire up one of those games in that backlog. It doesn't matter which one. Just fucking pick one.
How about getting back into that save file you put down a little while ago? Just hop back into the fucking game.
Go play video games. Right now. No excuses. Go. Now.
>>380613032
But i hate video games.
What the fuck is this cringeworthy Reddit-tier bullshit doing on my fucking imageboard?
Get the fuck out of here and die.
Nah, no interest in games right now.
I'm only here because navmeshing exteriors in CK is a monstrous pain in the ass and I'm procrastinating. The auto-navmesh tool is a fucking piece of shit.

I have some great news! Keiji Inafune, the father of Mega Man and Beck, has merged his company Comcept into Level 5, making Level 5-Comcept! What new adventures await Beck and his friends with the characters from Level 5? Might we see a Professor Layton-MN9 crosss over, or perhaps even a Level 5 title helmed by the legendary and charismatic game creator himself?
For the more immediate, The 3DS and Vita ports of Mighty Number 9, (Japanese side scrolling action...transformed!) are coming! Despite the baseless rumors by certain provocateurs that they're cancelled, they'll be coming out this year. On top of that, the rest of the physical rewards are coming as well. Both these had to wait until the restructuring of Comcept and Level 5 was complete.
I can't wait for the adventures us and game creator Keiji Inafune will get into in the future! Soul Sacrifice, Recore and Mighty Number 9 were only the beginning of our journeys!
I'm here to answer any questions you may have about the new adjustments Comcept has made in the last few months and the future of the company. AMA.

What was the reasoning behind this merger? How long has this been in talks?

Nintendo confirms that Metroid Prime: Federation Force isn't even part of the fucking franchise.
>>380612110
Handheld-only entries generally don't count when considered in the "main" series, especially when it's spin-off tier.
Was Hunters any good?
I had the multiplayer demo that came with my DS, but did it have a solid story campaign?
I hope that question is directed to Nintendo itself cause i'm pretty sure they were the only ones who didn't realize.

PS3 Yakuza and Persona in Steam how does this make you feel?

They're STILL playing this commie-propaganda?
I have no idea why woolie is dragging this out so much. Do you really need to talk to every npc every 5 minutes?
>>380613925
They're 20 parts in.
That's like, 10 hours on a game that's maybe 5 hours long.
