I hate how companies, especially Nintendo, treat handhelds this way.

I don't expect a gigantic home console experience, I just want handheld titles to have the respect they deserve. So many handheld games rival console titles in terms of gameplay and content, but whenever Nintendo makes a handheld entry it's always a "lite" version of the console entries.

I think Transformers: The Movie: The Game was the only time in history where the handheld titles were significantly superior to the console ones (because the console ones had a four month dev time and were so broken half the achievements weren't unlockable, but Vicarious Visions made the DS games an awesome little sandbox story where you could scan and transform into any vehicle, it was dope).

Hell, Strange Journey is apart of the mainline SMT Series, even was going to be numbered sequel, but techincally, since it's different, it's a Side Game. I would also think that's the same case with SMT NINE since that was a Side Game aswell but apart of the 'Main' Timeline. No one talks about NINE though.
