So I bought Shadow of Chernobyl recently, and I'm having a hard time getting into it. I am playing on Master, and when I shoot the slavs they stagger and become invincible. I realize you people will defend the mechanic and tell me to git gud and aim for the head and shit but the invincibility frames just feel so shitty. So, do you guys know of any mods that fix this? I'd perfer the stagger animation is just removed entirely instead of enemies no longer being invincible when they stagger, so i don't constantly get cheap kills on enemies stuck in this animation.

unless you have some sort of weird mod, there is no such thing as 'invincibility frames'

The starter guns are absolutely terrible and you should never go for headshots unless you're extremely close to them. As you get better weapons alter on you can get headshots more and more easily. Just keep doing chest shots on them until you're better armed.
Also, for whatever reason firing from the hip seems to be more easy for headshots than ADS for certain guns (when close, of course)

It's really not. OP is probably just salty he was getting called out in the SotC thread since that one's getting NO new content. Twilight Princess HD actually looks pretty good and adds a fair amount of content and QoL changes. It's pretty much the definitive version of the game, especially since you can play with the Pro Controller.
