>new atari game
>already multiplatform
So we can safely assume that AtariBox is just emulation machine or something similar?
I forgot to link actual announcement

>Experience Tempest 4000’s mind-blowing graphics in beautiful 4K resolution.
>Tempest 4000

Why the fuck did they not call it Tempest 4K
>>386632556
They did?
>OOOOOHHH OOOOHHH OOOOHHHHOOOOOHHH OOOOHHH OOOOHHHH OOOOOHHH OOOOHHH OOOOHHHH
>one million units sold
Damn....

Why can't I get this song out of my head /v/
The dev team has been doing so fine ass balance.
Games you dropped because your adhd kicked in and you ended up buying more than one game
This War of Mine, never really got into the game for longer than 20 minutes yet.
>>386631173
Go back and finish it you're missing out on the GotY
>>386631173
I buy more than one game but i only play one of them at a time, the only reason i would drop a game is if it's not appealing to me or if I've beaten it
Explain to me why the fuck this franchise is popular. Sure, I see the appeal to kids because they do know any better, but there is no fucking way that <10 year old kids post on 4chan, so what the deal? I played one title on 3DS (it was either black or white, don't remember. Silver maybe?) and at first it was fun, graphics are colourful, the atmosphere is friendly and comfy, but good god, gameplay is repetitive rock-paper-scissors mess, the only challenge I got was by not following the advices of NPCs on what pokemons to use against bosses, that's it. At first I though "Sure it will get harder" and I sinked 25 hours into that game, but when I got to the supposedly fucking super elite area where only pokemasters who defeated all champions from 8 cities are allowed and found out there are dozens of fucking nobodies wanting to fight me just because like in every other area I dropped it like steaming pile of shit. I have no reason to believe that 3DS is any different from any other pokemon game, so what the deal? Surely it can not be only because of nostalgia, can it?
>>386631147
Play competitive multiplayer. It's like a mix of chess and rock-paper-scissors.
>>386631230
Nah, I ain't playing this franchise ever again unless fucking chink who created this game returns me my 25 hours of life, but eh, I could see how this could work.
>>386631230
Don't drag the name of chess through the dirt just to make a comparison
It's a mix of grinding, collecting, and pic related at best, all in a neat colorful package.
1) Games are stored in your computer but you can't modify the files
2) The binary files in your computer are only using your CPU/GPU as a parasite to connect to steam servers otherwise they are worthless
3) Even if you modify the files offline it's still illegal
4) You agreed to purchase the license to authenticate a game online, you don't purchase the game itself
5) Valve DRM client called Steam allow third party DRM to connect o to third party servers without your consent
>b-but why should I care I just want to play gaems xD
not an argument

#UPDATE#
I tried to run the game without the crack and it doesn't work. Even Steam games that run offline need a fucking crack to decrypt the file.
TL;DR: Steam is a fucking scam even their ''offline'' games are bundled with DRM encryption
>>386631032
Only people that care about any of these things are pirates. Quit video games if DRM bothers you. We don't need parasites.
>>386631032
So it doesn't actually do anything?
Good to know op, now fuck off.
>if you're offline for more than 2 weeks steam offline mode refuses to work
When did they add this fucking bullshit?
Hey /v/ what are you doing not playing mgo2 again all you need is a ps3, flashdrive, and a copy of mgs4.
These fellows help bring back the game to life (also the file for mgo is here); https://savemgo.com
https://savemgo.com
https://savemgo.com
and there are still a ton of players on the game, experience the glory that once was.
>>386631005
Does it still delete everything on your hard drive?
>>386631068
Yup, but you can still redownload all of your ganes after this if that helps
How about if you have CFW?
Planning to get my PS3 downgraded soon
Why aren't you playing the best game available on Steam™?
I'd rather have a real life "House Party" ;)
>>386631127
Name?
>>386631127
She's real pretty
I was wondering, now that CDProjekt are a well-established company among almost all video games consumers, including normies, couldn't release their upcoming projects only on Gog ?
I think Witcher 3's success could emancipate them from Steam, and they could establish Gog as a serious concurrent for it. What do you think ?
some people don't want their games pirates with no effort
>>386630982
But Gwent is GOG only and seems it will stay that way.
Too bad it's a shit game.
Even if they don't "need" to sell on steam, selling on steam would result in making more money because they would get a lot more sales.
do you saltybet?
not since like 2014
>>386630962
forgot about this yeah. i generally bet and take shots if im wrong
>>386631028
This.
I play saltybet with friends and we bet shots.
What does FF14 bring to the table for people who arent that interested in pvp(arena, bgs) and pve(dungeons, raids)? Is the story worth playing the game for? How big is the world compared to other current MMOs on the market? Is the trial worth trying out or is it too limiting on what they provide?
>>386630679
The trial isn't that restricting. Story is interesting but it's very long and can drag at times(filler quests).
The trial contains literally all the pvp content. 4v4s are fun. 8v8s are a fun shitfest. The good bgs don't fire.
I couldn't stand the story.
I quit before I got to raids.
>>386630679
>What does FF14 bring to the table for people who arent that interested in pvp(arena, bgs) and pve(dungeons, raids)?
Crafting, gathering, minigames, dressing up, Roleplaying
>Is the story worth playing the game for
Fuck no. Those 300 hours could be better spent on multiple single player games with far better stories.
>world
It's not seamless and there's lots of loading screens. It's not big, but doesn't feel small either.
>trial worth trying
Sure, but you'll only be experiencing literally the most boring parts of the game
>After around 5 hour into the story sharing gets blocked off
>It's to prevent spoilers
What the fuck?
Who thought that this was a good idea?
Are all jap publishers that retarded or just SEGA?
>>386630543
Never cared about sharing myself so no big deal.
Can't wait for the sequel next month though. That damn cliffhanger at the end Deception.Touka and Munechika best girls
Bandai and atlus pull the same shit
A lot of jap rpg devs just prevent sharing for some reason, I still can't stream Super Robot Wars without a capture card and I'm pretty sure persona 5 is still blocked too
For the mania, by the mania.
Why do you guys keep making general threads?
First for PC Master Race, sell your PisS4 and build a gaming PC
>>386630489
Is the IP for Fez still for sale? I remember that announcement was made during his meltdown. No joke, I have 1.5k to waste, so why the fuck not? It's worth far less, but don't tell Phil "Suck my dick" Fish I said that.
>>386630385
If it is, buy it and turn it into a porn franchise.
>>386630536
Wow. I had my own ideas, but they were just blown clear out of the water.
Like he would sell it for that much.

When will gearbox finally kill themself? Why do they even try when it's 100% they will fail?
>>386630036
only when randy pitchford finally JUST's himself
>Project 1v1 is the code name for Gearbox's top-secret, in-development, competitive first-person shooter that combines the action of fast-paced 1v1 first-person combat with the metagame strategy of a collectible card game
>Valve announces a card game the very same day
Soon.
Also
>fast-paced 1v1 first-person combat with the metagame strategy of a collectible card game
What were they thinking?
Haha, what the fuck. They're trying so hard to make niche shit that literally nobody wants. Randy Pitchford desperately wants to make the "next big thing", but the only thing that will even remotely do good is another Borderlands game, and who the fuck even knows if it would even sell since the series has been in hiatus for awhile.
