Literally just play a lot, that's how you get good. I used to be like you, then i got addicted to wow and played it nonstop for two years straight. Eventually i started consistently getting top 10 parses for my class and at some point held #1 all star for my class. It got boring pretty quickly. The process of actually getting good is much more fun and enjoyable.

Anyone have trouble getting into Witcher 3 because of the
lame combat system? I actually prefer Skyrims first person combat
to W3s. I guess the game's worth it if you can get over it but it's

it's half the reason I quit. the other half being a really poorly thought out "open world" which actively discouraged exploration.
can't really say it's better than Skyrim. that game was only marginally fun because stealth archers. if I had to play melee all the time I would've dropped that too.
