Hey /toy/, I'm slowly selling my Star Wars (and practically everything else) collection. Most of my unboxed stuff in already listed on ebay and ready to go.

But my problem lies on the the other half of my collection, the shit still in boxes. I have maybe 60+ figures still in box, none too impressive, clone wars, power, vintage collection, etc. Shipping individually is fucking dumb, but the shipping cost for them as a lot with how much they weigh is upwards of $100 if someone's on the opposite coast. Should I look to sell on Craigslist or letgo?

Also, for shipping in box figures, are protective cases expected, or is bubblewrap with air inserts considered enough?

I would sell to the local stores here, but the ones who deal in this shit are shady, general low-lifes, while selling on other places I have hope it's going to an actual collector, not some price gouging asshole.

Here's some tips from the previous threads:

Beginners: practice on cheap figures first.

For sculpting on figures: use 2-part epoxy putty like Aves apoxie or fixit.

For tools: try a basic carving/sculpting set like the kind arts & crafts stores have, and calipers for symmetry.
Dental tools have also been said to work well.
Also, using a Dremel is recommended. Minimites (the small $20-25 ones) are fine for starting out, but the battery life is poor. Upgrade to a corded one only if you want to get deeper into customizing. They are useful for stuff outside of the hobby though, so it's a good investment regardless.

For paints: use acrylics. Paint in multiple, thin coats. Brands like Vallejo/P3/Citadel are recommended, because of pigment quality.

Use a sealer when finished to protect your work. There are matte varieties and sealers that give a glossy look. As with painting, use multiple thin coats.

A flex shaft attachment on a Dremel is a godsend and relatively inexpensive. The grinding shield is also pretty useful, but you can improvise one using a cut open soda bottle.

Between the balls-numbing weather, my phone breaking over the weekend, and the prospect of possibly getting grinched twice in /toy/ SS I was starting to feel a little despondent. So imagine my surprise when I found a big ol' parcel waiting for me at home, from none other than my own SS assignment!

The box had very specific instructions so I guess I have to play along...

but Do you think with the release of the Samurai Jack S5 and all.
Would there be any decent merch toys atach to it?
Something make me think there will not... and the closes thing will be maybe some funko stuff... which would be sad.
