Anybody else collect these?
I can't be the only one. I saw some cool Transformers Rescue Bots and star Wars have later releases.
Like This Hera with Phantom from Rebels.
Sources online say 2016 release but I haven't found or seen her yet.
I started buying Rescue Bots after they started featuring the same weapon ports/pegs as mainline transformers. The Marvel/Star Wars playskool stuff doesn't seem to be as popular. Imaginext isn't sold here (Singapore).

That Hera has seen some shit.

Used to have the X-Wing and Falcon. Got rid of them somehow. I don't know why I got them, probably impulse buy. But I do have the AT-AT. I collect all AT-ATs I can. It's like a puppy dog next to the full-size one.
We've talked about figures not doing well in hot temperature for long periods, but what about the cold?
Say I have a box of my toys in the car, the temp is consistently roughly 20 degrees Fahrenheit, will that have a negative effect on them? Would they become brittle?
As long as you give them enough time to fully come back up to room temperature and do not mess with them until then they'll be perfectly fine.
>>6180207
Why don't you bring them inside then?
OP lives in his car because he spent so much on japanese dollies he can't pay for rent.
Hi /toy/, I just found this thing and I don't know where does it come from.
Any idea?
China most likely.
>>6172016
i think there was a thread about this last month. some guy got a silver version or something
>>6172016
It's a 00' toy but I can't remember the name maybe are older than Beyblade it was a collection of roboknights used as those spin toys
Has anyone noticed this? It's like heroin addiction. You're constantly have less money than you could've had, mostly in bad mood, become a petty nitpicker over everything, and once there's slight glimmer of happiness when you open new toys, but then it all fades away and you need to collect more to complete your collection, you stuff your new toy into an overcrowded shelves and just let it sit there, dust it every year or so, and argue with other petty people in cambodian basket weaving imageboard.
99.9% of the world doesn't care about your collection, nor even your significant others care about it as it just takes up more and more space and if you try to display everything at once your room will look like manchildren cave.
Well, fuck man, you're not wrong. For me if I didn't buy toys, it'd be books. It's half addiction, half coping mechanism. Bad day at work? Buy a toy, Friends are being assholes to me? Buy a toy. I'm not depressed enough to get on meds, so I just buy shit. But all of my toys make me happy, I always smile when I look at them. Plus, I don't plan on living forever, I'd rather get things I enjoy now and like my life enough to keep going another year.
>>6163884
I don't think you're enjoying the hobby any more.
I like my toys, but I budget and I know the difference between what I want and need. I keep in mind my whole collection when I'm buying, making sure that they look nice in their separate ways and together. I change them up, dust them, and box them nicely when I feel they have become too fixed on the shelf. If I'm not completely in love and happy with a toy, I get rid of it.
>>6163884
Then you should sell the stuff in the back.
That's what I do, and a lot of the stuff I have is relatively stable in value or goes up. (RDs and Figmas).
what is /toy/ opinion about this stuff?
recently bought a clone on ebay and it looks kinda cool...
>>6163057
I chose to fund the kickstarter months ago and I just received it last week. Aside from it being a bit bulky to carry in my pocket, I really enjoy it
>>6164729
Didn't the kickstarter guy get super butthurt that the Chinese pretty much cloned it and churned them out straight away while his Kickstarter was still ongoing?
Does the fidget cube actually help you at all? I'm curious to get one as I do find myself often clicking pens/fiddling with my keys.
I wish they would continue selling the figures and scale it up a bit
This is definitely better than funko pop
without the electronic element and at least $3-5 cheaper, I would be a constant customer
compared to the other collectible game figures I always thought these looked the nicest
unfortunately without a gimmick or the low production cost of funko I think these are dead forever
All the figures at my local walmart are $5 but I'm so poor thanks to my car breaking down I can't mass buy all the ones I've wanted for a while, feelsbadman, jpg
I only buy the Star wars ones and I'm still upset that I won't be getting Hera or chopper.

Do you have a friend that shares your hobby of toy collecting?
>>6178377
My friends are more into video games.
Most of them collect certain Funko mystery mini lines though.
That is something I guess.
My ex gf loved my toys.
Now I don't have any toy-collecting friends. My brother thinks it's weird.
>>6178377
In real life, no, since I have none.
But online I have all of you.

i bought these 2 over the weekend. i hope they make one for juri and guile too.
why do people buy this shit
you can't do anything with them, they just stand there with their big retarded heads
Are they supposed to be some sort of 'proof' to show others that you're a 'real fan' of the properties?
Please help me out. I am new to 1/6 scale figures and am trying to work out how to attach these pair of shoes to this figure.
Am I meant to use this peg which it came with to put in shoe? But then it wont be the same size as other foot unless am I meant to pull out the whole peg thing in the plastic foot and put in shoe?
Also, I have this Heath Ledger Joker head, the cop edition as you know doesnt come with a body so I am trying to put it together.
The cheap plastic body I got comes with this small piece that looks like I guess it must be put inside the head? Tho idk if it is meant to fully fit since is hard to get in and i dont wanna damage
>>6179442
It sure looks like it fits but then again is hard getting in maybe since this head hasnt been put together before so is new
>>6179445
Actually to come to think of it, it doesnt fit so there must be some other head piece thing to buy
Why do the coolest Sentati series get so ignored?
The MMPR easily have the least interesting designs but they're the most popular.
>>6179410
>The MMPR easily have the least interesting designs but they're the most popular.
Because they where the first to be brought over to America, dummy. Of course, you weren't born back then so you wouldn't know what a phenomenon that was. The Zyuranger costumes are simple, but iconic, no dozen silly elements like sashes and badges cluttering the design.

>The Zyuranger costumes are simple, but iconic
It's simply this.
Even the mech is quite simple in design but effective compared to something like the later designs mechs which add more robots and more clutter into the designs.
Then you add the nostalgic elements to that and you have why it's the most popular.
I'd even dare to say the new PR movie could have good designs if they stripped back some of the detail and kept it more simple.
You find this exact issue come up in newer Pokemon too, remove some excess detail and you get a nicer design.

Plsss i want this toy ;v; where can i buy it?
>>6177248
That's an Otamatone. I wanted one for a while, they're super cute.
>>6177265
I have one myself actually. Not exactly the most musical things in the world but as you say, very cute.
>>6177437
Yeah that's kind of why I didn't buy in the end. They're priced like actual musical instruments, but really they're just novelty toys.
