In my chemistry class we did this exact experiment: http://matse1.matse.illinois.edu/metals/f.html but the next day my penny had completely dissolved. No one else had this problem and my teacher said they didn't know why the copper dissolved. Any ideas?

I am not talking about the zygote, but rather the gametes, or the spermatozoa in males and ovum in females, before sexual reproduction, within a single organism, be it male or female.

Do we thoroughly test genetics enough to really accurately determine that chimerism/mosaicism isn't much more common than we think?

ie: You test a small amount of tissue and find it to have XX or XY chromosomes.

But in chimerism/mosaicism, you can have a mix. You can have a person with some organs that are mostly made up of XY, while others are XX, if I am understanding correctly.

Has extensive karotyping and data collection actually been done regarding something like 46XX, 46XY?

Nope, it hasn't.

It gets checked when you are born with a weird dick/clit, or when you go in for fertility counseling because you can't make a baby due to being a genetic mistake

Yo guys, I want to learn network security but I don't know where to start. I know nothing about it but I've got lots of free time to learn. I've done some research and basically everyone says that you can't start from scratch here and must have background knowlage (OS, networking).

What are good courses/sources to start with let's say OS (if that's the right path to start with)?

When you think about it, perpetual motion machines, if they are possible, aren't as useful.
Truly perpetual machines that just work on their own forever won't ever exist. They are eventually going to need some sort of maintenance. And we already have ways to get "perpetual enough"(please don't be triggered by this) by draining energy from natural systems, even though it's not that good as other sources of energy. The only use I see for "perpetual" motion machines would be really durable batteries(such as 10 years or more), but they would probably waste a lot of space compared to their energy output. Maybe it would be inside a space ship or something, but then again, they are going to waste so much space it's not going to be worth their watts/s output.

All you're saying is "perpetual motion machine is impossible because it would violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics", except you're saying it in a retarded brainlet way.

IF an actual working perpetual motion machine was ever made, it would literally give us access to an infinite amount of energy. It would change the world, and maybe even the entire universe because it could be used to prevent the heat-death of the universe

That means that your parents or school want to use you to compete in math contest and earn prestige on your back.

I can guarantee, this will be fun but by getting into it you are signing a contract that you won't even see a pair of tits until you are 25.

Have fun.

I seldom have to go down for office hours because I rarely see the solutions and not understand the concept I'm missing.

Unless you go down there to brown nose the professor, I don't really see a point.

Do some research in adjacent topics and ask the professor about potential crossover. Showing an interest in these things is the best way to get to know them

If the simulation theory is true then would it provide a solution to the issue that the universe will eventually be uninhabitable for humans?

If we transfer a consciousness into a simulation and speed up the simulation it will be able to experience millions of lifetimes when barely any time passed in the real world. And if a simulation can be built in a simulation you can go a step further and simulate millions of lifetimes within millions of lifetimes effectively making you immortal because of infinite regression into unlimited simulations.

Am I right or am I right?
