Do you believe it is important to "Do one thing, and do it well"?
>>1545489
At the core of the OS, yes, absolutely. But when you cross the line into userspace then it might make more sense not to, as its more "user friendly" or intuitive to have larger monolithic applications.
This is why systemd is shit. The fact that systemd exists _at all_ today is testimony to the superior design philosophy of "the Unix way". If it weren't for the low level software of old adhering to the unix way then we would have had old crusty monolithic software that would be impossible to replace today.
Just as systemd will one day be old and crusty and impossible to replace. We're digging our own grave, and for no reason other than to walk right into redhats walled garden with our eyes closed just so they can be in charge.
It's retarded. Stay away from it. The Unix way will set you free.

but that is windows chkdsk output not unix fsck output
unix doesnt even have "security descriptors"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely, which is why I use runit as my init system.
Remember when it was typical for people to have conversations in /qa/ that didn't have to take place over weeks due to artificial resuscitation and didn't consist entirely of two teams of people shitposting at each other?
It's pretty stupid since one of the teams is team "by not even attempting to justify my actions I have magically justified my actions."
I remember when threads lasted months without bumps. Too many people disrespect this board so it's necessary now.
>>1545446
>it's necessary now.

Is it wrong to bump a thread just because you like it?
Yes. Don't even bother posting/bumping unless you have something good and worthwhile to contribute. Don't drag threads on for hours with shitposting after people have had intelligent and respectful conversation. 4chan is not a forum, but that doesn't make it a chatroom.
I doubt you actually care for my opinion and aren't just looking to feel validated in your own beliefs, but the ">page 10, >anime, bump" contentless posts are clearly pushing agenda without considering or contributing discussion, or even preserving significant content for others to see, since the basis isn't its significance, it's its being literally lowest common denominator in a select regard. Don't do that.
If you like the discussion ongoing in a thread, bumping for more raises the chances of others being inspired to pick it up again. Pretty much, any reason related to being significant is a justified bump imo. But, again, I doubt you care since you likely only want to hear that contentless bumps because anime are somehow fine.
Is it wrong to commit a crime, even when you feel it is righteous?
How accurate is this?

I think, but it's dubious... Canada will get you a year in jail.
Some people were talking about that in a C92 thread on /jp/, check it out.
Why do people make shit threads on /qa/?
>>1544838

Using this thread to ask another question, why do people RP as Satania (or any other anime character, Alice comes to mind) for attention?
>He does it for free
I heard they were paid in hot pockets.
Who are you quoting?

Why does the message box accuse me of ban evasion when the ban page makes no such mention? Are mods artificially increasing ban length so the ban couldn't be appealed in time?
Because you are literally ban evading. If you get banned and change your IP without deleting your cookies first, it displays that message.
>>1544569
Because you tried to ban evade but didn't delete your cookies.
>>1544602
Not that I would know about any of that since i've never ban evaded, i'm just guessing.
