Lets assume i blew my manifold catalytic converter and it's cutoff right there.
Is this something you could weld back together?

Yes
Hey /o/, I recently started a new job at a Ram, Chrysler, Jeep dealership, but I don't know shit about any of these vehicles. Are there any recommendations on what to study first so I know what the fuck I'm talking about? Also, we have a bunch of preowned inventory, and I have half a mind to list them all on craigslist, backpage.com. Why wouldn't you list your inventory on a site that gets 50 billion views per day?

how does it feel scamming niggers all day every day?
speak in an itallian accent to enhance the feel of buying rebadged FIATs
>>17503648
Just remember to mumble "Hemi" or "off-road jeep" in response to any valid criticism of Chrysler products.
Have you ever bought one on a loan?
>loan
shitboxes HAVE to be bought using cash. it's tradition and loans are dumb anyways
>>17503489
less than 2k.
i got my celica for 1500$ and a handgun
never take out a loan for a shitbox that's the point of a shitbox
the grey 335 was the most expensive at $5500. others were less than $3k (with some issues)

Where is the F1 thread?
See title. Design a racing formula/format/spec in excruciating detail, tell us why it's good, and we tell you why it's a horrible idea.
>Spec Bellytanker:
>Strictly defined tank shape, all materials allowed
>~2000lbs minimum weight including driver and fuel
>Simple rollcage construction
>No aero allowed
>215-60R15 tires on all four corners (cheap and plentiful)
>All front end suspension allowed (leaf spring or pushrod, go wild)
>Transaxles with 4 forwards gears at most
>Mandatory swingaxle rear suspension (basically forced to use Beetle transmission)
>All brake systems allowed
>All OHV engines up to 2000cc allowed. Restrictor plates if speeds start to exceed safety limits.
>All flathead engines up to 5000cc allowed (for nostalgia)
>You must complete the track intact
>You must be in a 4-wheeled vehicle
>You must not put spectators or pit crews at risk
And that's it. First across the line wins.

Ok good, they signed waivers anyways
Have fun

This nigger right here. Especially with the Martini livery.
>tfw I finally saw one in person and action at the Nürburgring a couple of weeks ago
>doubt the driver revved all the way to 12k but holy shit that wail
There were a couple of cossies, too. Pretty cool imho, but it's a shame they're more rare than other Group-A specials and regular sierras have such little potential.

Hi
dog
idk, starting a new thing
Post:
>required/desired specs
>cars you like that you want more of
>price range
and others try to recommend a vehicle that fits your needs.
I'm interested in a 90s a e s t h e t i c car, anything Japanese or German, 25kish AUD (can be more), and preferably RWD. Like the look of an '05 Skyline near me, an E39 M5, and the AE86. Power is not a huge deal so much as handling and reliability.
>required, desired specs
I dont have anything particular really, i just want the car to be fast, handle on snow at least decently and preferably have good or decent possibilities of tuning later (autocross/street racing are really popular and would like to try either one late)
>cars that you like
Really like old Toyotas and Hondas, prelude, Celica, especially rx-7, but it's out of my budget (mostly pop-ups)
>price range
2k €/3k $ (eastern europe)
I can get an 02 impreaza wrx or a 98 328is in great condition for the same price. Which buy?

God damn it, I lost.
Has anyone ever paint rolled their car? I've heard that it's better than rattle canning but all the sources I've seen are super dated. Are there more modern poorfag paint methods?
Marine paint is fucking legit, it all depends on how much you want to save compared to the work you have to put in (sanding back multiple layers etc).
>>17503085
>Has anyone ever paint rolled their car?
It can work if you are willing to sand the surface smooth afterwards. The main reason why rolling is not used is air pockets, contamination of the roller, and hairs released from the roller.
Both tractor and marine paints can be applied with rollers, but the best and most convenient job is with spray. That's because you need to get multiple thin coats into tight places rather one one thick coat from a roller.
There are archived /o/ threads on the use of tractor paint along with example photos.
>>17503105
That looks nice. Did you apply a clear coat after or do you not need to?

Jesus christ
Ever have the opportunity to get a car that you decided against and regretted?
>guy across the street has a 1993 Deville
>asking 500 will take 300
>Take a look at it, in good shape aside from paint, 4.9 v8
>Only thing wrong is cracked radiator and no battery
>Think eh maybe if I have the extra money
>Procrastinate
>Gives it away to some dude bro for 50 dollars worth of yard work
>>17502442
Don't worry bro you almost got a FWD V8.
>>17502442
Honestly, 300 would be wasted money on that pile unless you're a lowrider spic or a wannabe rapper
>>17502442
>Actually, unironically wanting a FWD Northstar V8 under any circumstances or conditions
