>meticulously make sure everything fits and is sealed properly
>finally finish and get everything put back together
>start car
>engine sputters and kicks out massive burnt oil cloud
>drive it around the neighborhood and it doesnt stop burning oil
>CEL is on
>no more daylight to work on it
>i have work tomorrow and this is my only car
please help me /o/ what did i do wrong
You fixed something that wasn't the problem, that's all. Oil in the spark plugs, you say?
>>17507382
>>spend several hours today replacing and cleaning valve cover, gaskets, spark plugs and seals
do you know how to do this?
>>17507386
i googled the problem and it was either this or the head gasket and clearly im not capable of the latter at this point

lol
The things I love about Alphonse and my shitposting is that it never get any replies, like you can tell GM fangirl and the rest of the triggered nerds at /o/ actually find it uncomfortable to look at the threads
when you are just having a laugh with your friends you always end up rubbing it off because at the end, it's just banter, but /o/ is so autistic it takes it on a personal level
It's like that one loser in school that always got bullied, and one day his mommy told him "just ignore them", you know he is hurt, you know you are pushing his buttons
I fucking love it

true.
kinda sad how obsessed their with me
Is this a meme car?
280hp and supposedly does 0-60mph in 5.5 secs
>>17507322
man it would be great if you listed the car, model and year
>>17507322
>german cars
Why would you do something so stupid?
280hp is nothing special. The new Accord has 280 too. You can get into some base model rwd luxury cars for what it costs (35k i'm guessing?).
So many classic cars, what went wrong?
castrated to protect Chevy multiple times
forced to use corporate engines
relegated to budget Chevy duty
nothing but badge engineered cars instead of own original cars
>>17507236
They went bankrupt and had to put something on the chopping block. Personally I think they should have axed GMC, leaving Chevy as the entry-level/truck brand, Pontiac for sports cars, Saturn for import fighters, Buick for entry-level luxury, and Cadillac for full-tilt luxury.
>>17507248
100% this
Pontiac was preparing to unleash a cheap rwd coupe that would have eaten camaro sales and a higher tier car that would have taken from the base model corvette
>spend weekend driving dads $40,000 car
>have to go back to driving my $1400 econbox
nearly drove into a tree on the way home lads but i couldn't turn quick enough because my econbox doesn't have power steering
anyone else gone for luxury to garbage and been suicidal?
>drove dad's Porsche
>his waifu's BMW M135
>mom's G35
>go back to my beater
At least I have a '14 mustang these days.
>>17507095
When it rains my car is undriveable and I take my beater to work. Never feel like killing myself over it tho.
>>17507095
I switch between my $45,000 sportscar and my $2000 daily all the time. It's not too bad, my daily is an Integra that's lowered with stiffer suspension and is way more fun than most people give it credit for.
Could anyone explain what happened here
>Its storming (thunder and lightning n shit) in the area
>Power goes out in the house
>Truck starts running
>It can be started from this remote (pic related)
>didn't fuck with the remote in any way shape or form
What the hell happened here???
You paid Pablo at Car Toys to wire third party shit in your truck.
You left it on and couldn't hear it until everything was off
My Friends who flip shit trucks last night were telling me that my 04 Superduty was worth a couple grand, whereas if it was a GM or Dodge it would be worth 2x-3x more. And they weren't bashing Ford or anything, just talking about prices. Why would this be?
>GM or Dodge anything being worth 2x-3x more than Ford
>Ever
Your friends are retarded, and completely full of shit.
>>17507079
You're dumb, your friends are even more dumb.
They're trying to get a cheap truck off of you.
Or they're really fuckin stupid.
>Dude drive lmao

Car getting worked on in bad shop?
So my car was getting resprayed but I recently found out the guy who is doing the paint job has a lowrider.
I am now concerned that he may not take proper care of my car or try to steal things from it.
How can I deal with this situation?
Be super nice or he might hammer a nail through your temple.
>>17507032
Obvious bait but honestly, I would actually want a lowrider dude doing my paintwork.
>>17507032
Lowriders have some of the most difficult and complicated paint jobs I've ever seen, those guys are fucking artists with a spray gun. Anyone that can spray one of those well is more than qualified to work on your shitbox.
I saw this weird car when I was going for a walk, can someone tell me what it is?
>>17506881
You fucking overweight piece of shit.
I will shove that entire goddamn spoiler up your ass if I see you in person, and cram that stupid goddamn chicken up there with it.
Fuck.

I know this is a bait thread, but idgaf.
>>17506893
I was at a muffler specialty shop because I had to get welding done, and I saw a group of three white teenagers paying $500 to get a fart cannon on their evo. just the cannon, not even a whole exhaust system.
Is a 50/50 weight distribution always ideal for a sports car?
Fuck off lardass

I just sold my old Clio because some transmission issues were getting extremely annoying. Now I'm looking for a new car. How's this ugly little thing? I like it.
I quite like this car, seen it on the road a few times and it nice to see a new car that not fucking giant. that being said i believe it only has a 1.2 engine and i would want a tad more power in my car. maybe look at something with a 1.5 or 2 litre
>>17507454
>2.0 modern subcompact
In your dreams maybe. Not even compact cars have engines with that much displacement anymore.
I bought a slightly used car (7k on it) from a used car dealership.
I originally financed it but later paid it off that same year. After I picked up my license plates I literally never went to that dealer again ever.
So if my car does have a GPS tracker, It was never removed.
What are the chances it has a GPS tracker on it and where are they usually hidden or located?
https://www.liveviewgps.com/blog/car-dealers-gps-tracking-monitor-car-financing/
I have really good credit, Do they only do that with people with shit credit or everyone?
>Not only do the customers sign a contract saying they understand their vehicle is tracked with a GPS device, but they are legally abiding by the rules to not deactivate, remove or destroy the device.
the chances are 0 unless you signed up for it
if you did then simply go to the dealer and tell them to remove it, if you have already finished your payments that is...
Hey ladd/o/s.
What's your local scene like?
As you can see, over here, it's pretty redneck and sad. Mostly sad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSTpMAC13PY
Track days around here are few and far in between, so people resort to """tuning""" and... whatever this was.
Show us yours, vids preferred.
>>17506650
Spain here, lots of ricers but lots of good bikers too.
If you are looking for more niche or rare stuff it's quite harder to see apart from your typical rally event or circuit.
I Think that the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is one of the best tracks ever.
>>17506667
Got any nice non-highway roads to share? I'll be coming down to Spain on a road trip eventually. :)
Here's a rather nice one if you ever find yourself in Slovenia - Vršič Pass
Safe to use WD-40 on windscreen?
Never tried it but I have some sticky residue from a sticker I pulled off on a new one.
>>17506583
I think there are some solvents and such that aren't recommended to be used on a plastic/synthetic like that wind screen
>>17506604
Thanks I'll just go pick up some good be gone.
>>17506583
WD-40 is safe, but you'll attract dust to it unless you clean it off with dish soap asap.
