What advantages does a 1980s honda magna have over an old cafe racer such as a cb400 four?
Which ones rides and handles better?

A magna is a muscle cruiser. The CB series are UJM's, classified by modern marketing teams as "standards".
Comfort on either is going to be based on preference, stock. They're both old enough that modifying either will be based on fabrication skill, therefore price varies wildly.
However, don't be labouring under the misconception that any bike is a café from the jump. That, like a scrambler, flat-tracker, or bobber are names for specific groups of modifications.
In short, the main difference will be inline four versus V4. Ride both and decide which feels better to you.
And if you want to sit forward on the V4, buy a Sabre. It was part of the set with the Magna and VFR750.

The only cars I've owned were either given to me by my parents, or financed from a dealership. I can drop a load on a car right now, I'm looking at a used car that has a lien on it currently. What's the process for this? How does the lien title work? Do I just cut a check?

I've noticed that afrer driving around for awhile, I start to get really bad headaches. Would driving with shades on help? I really don't like wearing shades but I'm not sure what else to do. Tints are illegal in my state.

Is there any performance benefit going from a 5 speed to a 6 speed, or is just for fuel economy? Chevy, Porsche, and Aston are doing 7 speeds now, is there any benefit in that? I feel it'd just make it easier to miss a gear.

In theory you can maximize your power curve... but in practice, you lost time with additional clutch disengagements. Honestly, unless you're fucking fast with your clutch and deadly accurate with matching gears with your power curve, it's not likely something a luxury car needs.
7 speed twin clutch automatics however, THAT makes sense. Practically zero lag time between gears, and it optimizes the power curve to the gear better than a human can.

I guess I should be specific, just talking manuals here. Though I'm curious at what point adding gears in an auto/DCT becomes pointless as well. The 2018 Mustang is getting a 10 speed auto, that just seems insanely excessive.
