did they deserve it?
>multiple allegations
>pride yourself on being a bastion for social justice and queer rights
>don't deny the allegations
I mean if they didn't do it, why wouldn't they just deny it?
>pretends to be queer to get pucci and success
Whatever happened, they were definitely /ourguys/
The way the music scene handles these things is so lame. I am not a fan of any band who has been accused, but it's sad that accusations are all it takes for the whole scene to turn on you and condemn you

ITS BEEN ONE DAY
DUDE
Remind me why Swans isn't considered metal?
Is it just that they don't use the right kind of distortion? Because when they're heavy, they're heavy. I feel like it's more a distinction based on who's making the music and not what the music actually sounds like.
(Of course not every Swans release is similar to metal, SFTB being an obvious example, but a lot of the recent stuff as well as the early stuff teeters close to metal than I think people give them credit for.)

Metal comes from blues and hard rock, Swans was born out of No Wave, post-punk and industrial.
Is Big Black metal?
Are the Butthole Surfers metal?
Is Merzbow metal?
Are Les Rallized Denudes metal?
Its called no wave, retard. Metal doesn't own the concept of heavy music.

>Metal comes from blues and hard rock
And Swans doesn't? Because they very much do, especially the blues part. Of course, it doesn't really sound like it, but neither does metal.

why do so many guitarists buy this fucking amp. It sounds like complete shit no matter what setting you have it on. You can literally buy something that sounds so much better for just slightly more. (but muh versatility) save up for an axe fx if you care so much about your amp doing everything but other than that you're going to comprimise quality with quantity.

>but muh versatility
You answered your own question OP
gear is overrated

>it was the only thing that made me think life is worth living
if you ever get to this point then you need to stop listening to music. that is not a healthy relationship to have with art.

I've loved music for a long time and have been playing piano since I was 6. I could never get the coordination between my left and right hands down. I tried guitar but couldn't get fretting down, and my drumset is a piece of shit. I can write music, but I just can't play it very well. Should I just give up? Is it too late to get talented?
>>72766353
Record each hand seperately for demos, then get someone in to play for you during gigs.
try more instruments.
look into brass, woodwinds and maybe bass

Did you take guitar lessons?
