From Can: everything from their debut to Soon Over Babaluma (they released some ok stuff after that but nothing really worth recommending)
Amon Duul II: Phallus Dei, Yeti, Tanz der Lemminge, Wolf City
Ash Ra Tempel: First and Schwingungen (absolute must-listen for anyone interested in krautrock, GOATtshing's guitar playing on those albums is amazing)
Agitation Free: Malesch, 2nd and At the Cliffs of River Rhine
Embryo: We Keep On, Embryo's Reise (their early stuff is good too though I'm not a big fan personally)
Between: And The Waters Opened
Cluster - Cluster II
Gila - Gila
Annexus Quam - Osmose
A.R. & Machines - A. R. IV
Brainticket - Cottonwoodhill
Brave New World - Impressions on Reading Aldous Huxley
Cosmic Circus Music - Wiesbaden
German Oak - German Oak (nazi kraut)
Guru Guru: Dance of the Flames, UFO
Kraan: Kraan, Wintrup
Xhol - Motherfuckers GmbH & Co. KG
Yatha Sidhra - A Meditation Mass
What old artist has had the longest lasting impact?
I'd say Sabbath because out of all the old musicians I've seen live they had the most age diverse crowd.

They haven't said anything but I'm sure they wouldn't like it. I keep it to myself and my friends, at least the more explicit stuff

1-Created a new account at rym
2-Rated all the math rock albums with an rating at my main account with an rating at the alternate account.
3-Listen and rate (with new account) the auto recommendation (to the new account) albums that are math rock albums.

there's usually 3 ways I get new music
1) Rym recommendations
2) Last.fm recommendations
3) /mu/ wiki charts
>>74385027
Tastekid works, if you already listen to underground music or if you listen to mainstream music but ask for music recommendations based only at non music stuff you like (like movies, books, games)...
Would Nirvana anywhere near as revered as they are today if Kurt didn't blow his brains out?
>>74384704
they would be less popular with normies and on reddit and they would be more popular on mu
>>74384704
they would be considered a shitty grunge band like all the others.
instead that idiot killed himself and boom, nevermind is the best album ever.
>>74384704
>*murdered
Depends, they were honestly on a role after incesticide and In Utero. From what I heard from Kurts home samples, they were pretty gud. But of course, no band can make good music forever.
Actually, I just remembered that if Kurt wasn't murdered, he would have left the band and maybe go solo or quit. So yea, they would be revered anyways since they were the only relatively huge Grune bands.
Why haven't they made a collab yet? Their fans want it.
Literally 4chan: the album
also, here's /pol/ the band (warning: it's terrible weeaboo pseudo-nazi alt right butt rock visual kei/hair metal): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAlvPEAiGl4
Because Stefan is not retarded.
>>74384691
no, i'd never want it.

If you got the chance to go back to 1990 and choose the name and cover art of Loveless, what would you have chosen?
duckless
>>74384613
i would not change those things
So do people like Ocean Eyes now? I've seen it here like everyday for the past week after never having seen it once on this board.
>>74384558
There's always been a small band of /mu/ contrarians who like it. Myself included. Although Maybe I'm Dreaming is the best Owl City album.
>>74384584
That's good to know. Personally it's my favorite pop album, but i've never said anything about it because people on this board seem to loathe music that makes you feel good.
>>74384634
To be honest the lyrics are absolute nonsense, but it's part of the charm. His ambient project Port Blue is good as well.
Was it possible to ever get worse than 70s-early 80s buttrock?
