Severe downgrades from the original. Loveless isn't a 2010s "SO DEEP" meme indie album. The album is better off without any faces involved. The nondescript art goes perfectly with the music. The album and lyrics have meaning I'm sure, and part of it is love, but it's meant to sound like a blurry dream.

So what - most album covers don't have to be literal. Loveless's cover is too literal for my liking, especially the guitar, makes the technical stuff take precedence over the emotion and concept imho
