Why is it with females these days that they get immense praise for doing shitty music about empowerment? I mean 90% of her lyrics are about being a woman, being black, being black woman and not having hourglass figure. Is this everything you need to be new rising star and being called ground breaking creative person?

>Jews and liberals run music.
Cucks, fags, women, and /mu/ listen to it and love it

how have you even heard of this woman you literal reddit hip hop header
Ive really only ever listened to music that my friends and family have liked and shown me.
Ive listened to and enjoyed most genres but have been exposed to almost exclusively the most popular groups in their respective styles.
I really want to expand my horizons and find some new and interesting stuff that I havent heard before.
Please post an album ITT that will show me what ive been missing.

Not completely terrible. Actually fairly decent.
This doesn't seem like it's going to be another album as good as the last two, but it seems like it might not be the disaster I was worried it might be

>be me
>metal fan
>annoyed at people on /mu/ saying all metal fans are plebs and metal sucks
>know that a lot of mainstream metal fans are pretty plebby, plus a good bit of /metal/
>love metal and still post about it
>never understood why you all think we're all plebs
>going on reddit (i know, i deserved this)
>browsing metal general discussions
>some guy talks about the beatles
>mentions sgt. pepper's, says it's boring and unmemorable
>complete pleb opinion but whatever, read the replies
>top reply
>says he's listened to abbey road before
>says he can appreciate experimentation in music but not when it means the music sucks
>this pleb unironically said that abbey road is too experimental
>realize /mu/ was right and that the average metal fan is the ultimate pleb
this is an eye-opening experience for me
this post was truly awful, it is painfully obvious that you do not belong here

metal is paradoxical because the more obscure you get with it, the less autistic the fans are
surface metal fans who screech about "le metal brotherhood" and jerk off Amon Amarth (le vikingz xDDDDD) and Lamb of God are irredeemable cancer

Just discovered an old text file where I deconstructed and explained the jokes in The Saga Begins. I would make similar jokes as part of a stand up routine that I practiced for my mom. Will post part of the text file in the next post to give you a hint of my autism.
A long, long time ago
In a galaxy far away
***This is like the opening of the movie and American Pie. It works well.
Naboo was under an attack
And I thought me and Qui-Gon Jinn
Could talk the federation in-
To maybe cutting them a little slack
***This is funny because people could die. It is serious but the narrator used slang. Slang can be funny by itself too.
But their response, it didn't thrill us
They locked the doors and tried to kill us
***This is different than in the movie where they are worried, so it’s a funny “white” lie.
We escaped from that gas
***Fart joke?
Then met Jar Jar and Boss Nass
***The singer should say Boss Nass first because he is a king a Jar Jar is a servant.
We took a bongo from the scene
And we went to Theed to see the queen
We all wound up on Tatooine
***Lots of rhymes here.
That's where we found this boy
Oh, my, my, this here Anakin guy
May be Vader some day later, now he's just a small fry
***This is funny because the audience knows he is Darth Vader too.
He left his home, and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin' "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi
Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"
***This is funny because he will not actually be a Jedi he will be Darth Vader.
Did you know this junkyard slave
***Anakin is white.
Isn't even old enough to shave
But he can use the Force, they say.
***A Jedi wouldn’t rely on hearsay.

Amid the ongoing fallout from the violence that saw a civil rights activist killed, music subscription service Spotify began removing so-called white power music, flagged by the SPLC as racist “hate bands”.
A Spotify spokesperson said: “Illegal content or material that favours hatred or incites violence against race, religion, sexuality or the like is not tolerated by us. Spotify takes immediate action to remove any such material as soon as it has been brought to our attention.

epic thread
I respect their rights as a company to do this, even if I wouldn't do it myself, but using the SPLC as a source on who is and who isn't a Nazi artist is really, really stupid. They've proven time and time again that they don't know what the fuck their on about in regards to that at least. I can see a lot of not actually white nationalist music being removed through moral panic here.
ITT: Post albums that you liked when the first came out but have lost their luster/novelty over the years
I was pretty obsessed with this album when it came out because of its use of really unconventional sounds and textures. It created a heady soundscape that blended primal/natural sounds through drones and beats with artificial, 90's flavored sampling. Not to "lol drugs", but Nickelodeon on an acid trip basically.
Now listening to it, the production is so lazy. What sounded "raw" before now just sounds to me like the samples were looped in Audacity without the removal of clicks and pops. Up is literally just one song, that is really only a loop, crossfaded into another song that's just some ambient noodling. Submersible and Explain are complete throwaway tracks. "Remember" is ironically the most forgettable track. Andro, Sleep Dealer, Replica, and Child Soldier are the only tracks that still hold up some merit for me, and it's not enough to save the whole album. It could've been a phenomenal EP if it was trimmed for the excess. It used to be my favorite OPN album, now it's one of my least favorites.
