Mikumo, she was really the only thing holding Delta together.
Also for the first episode Walkure were actually kind active in the fight and moving around, after that they just got on DESIGNATED STAGE OF THE WEEK and stood there, which made it really disappointing when coming from teaser episode.

Wasn't expecting them to go that far? Honestly now Im kind of worried. If you just did a straight up adaptation of the first few books you could pretty easily make a decent stand alone sci fi flick with that material.
Now I think they might be biting off more than they can chew and feel like a lot of the simplicity and, for want of a better term, down to earthness of the early parts of the book will be lost

So the reason why he finally decided to oppose Choco Char is because he saw that McGillis the psychopath would become a power-obsessed dictator and sure, he might root out some corruption while he is still alive, but soon after his death Gjallarhorn would return to being the same old can of worms since there are no structural mechanisms in place to prevent shit from happening.
Basically, Choco Char is the wrong person to start any sort of revolution cause he is a deluded psychopath with no moral principles. A deranged jihadist and The Life of Agnika Kaieru is his holy book.
