Plan 9 wasn't better enough than unix to displace it. Alpha wasn't better enough than x86 to replace it. Especially since mass adoption meant both unix and x86 had all the development money behind them.
Functional languages are just a meme, like microkernels. They're great for writing CS research papers, not so much for actual use.
C is of course still around. All your infrastructure is written in it, despite many attempts to replace it. It isn't going away any time soon.

my avg temp increased by 10c and my battery life went from 10-14 hours on avg to 6-9 hrs on avg.

I've been managing websites for awhile now. I've found what I like most about them is the design aspect. I love taking themes and molding then into my vision. Now I'd like to take the plunge into coding my own theme. I have a lot of learning to do in terms of coding, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience working with shopify? Is it hard to get your theme listed? It honestly seems like most themes just use the same shell and just switch the parts they want to change around.

i dont think its easy to get listed by shopify as an official theme
however there are a lot of themes on themeforest for $40-$50
Liquid is really easy .. i run a store myself and i fucked around with the themes a lot.
Its a pain in the ass since its such a high level and oyu dont have much control and the code can be a total clusterfuck to look at

Trying to run an Ethernet cable into my PS4 however it won't connect to the internet. I already made sure all the wires are running proper and I even checked the cable itself with my laptop which successfully reached the internet. But when I moved the cable to my PS4 it fails to even obtain the IP Address.
Is there a problem with the port in my PS4 itself? It's a slim model and only lightly used when I bought it, the original owner is a friend of mine and takes very good care of his things so I don't know what the issue is. Any ideas what it might be? I'm hoping it isn't the port or our router because it's a new Nighthawk I got just two days ago. Any help would be nice, thank you.
