You know this to be true.
Its not a funny meme dude. You tried but just stringing together adjectives for what sounds like an advanced computer doesn't trigger me snorting a little.

What are you trying to hide, degenerate?
hey guys, ive got a question you may or may not now. but if someone could help, id really appreciate it. does anyone know if there is something i can do to an antenna to prevent it from picking up radio stations? i just want to pick up white noise/static.
>>59388440
It will depend on how you're sited vis a vis radio sources, such as transmitters and diathermies.
A strong RF field will swamp your antenna even if it's designed for another fequency band.
A weak one won't appear even with the best S9er you can buy.
Maybe make a cooking foil bowl and plant your antenna in that and point it away from any sources of RF noise.
Are you looking for the CMB?
>>59389141
yes, primarily just trying to pick up the cmb noise like dead stations. trying to not have any interference with working stations.
Where do you get started?
Anyone with experience?
What platform? Find their API.
For AI chatbots, learn about natural language processing. There are services that can handle this part for you as it's reasonably complex (MS bot builder, API.ai, wit.ai etc.).
>>59388365
For you? Suicide.
What if you had a neural network chatbot hooked to a text sentiment analyzer and evolved it based on how happy it made people
HOLY SHIT

Absolutely no detail on what bugs was fixed and what security holes where fixed, its stupidly lazy and vague.
Hard to trust a company that can't even give you details on what is worked on version to version.
So what's the best distro and why is it Ubuntu?

x220 cause its the perfect size
its more expensive though that kind of sucks
Well, each has its purpose.
If you have a desktop already, X220 is recommended. Really small, not that heavy, comfortable to use.
If you want at least a laptop to replace your desktop, while the T420 ain't gonna do that much, it's still going to be more comfortable for home use. And you can replace the display on that with something better resolution wise.
>>59388261
T420 if you don't move much.
X220 if you do move a lot.
W501 if you don't move at all.

>"Let me just get it out of my bag"
>it looks as though someone has ransacked it, and then vomited over the remains
>pajeet finally returns, putting a beaten up, unmarked plastic box on his desk
>"AMD Ryzen is very powerful, and has to be locked away to keep it powerful"
>pajeet carefully opens the box, pulling out what looks like a Core 2 Duo, with an indian flag taped to it, and the words "RISEN" scrawled on in flourescent yellow pen
>"as you can see, AMD really tried to design ryzen as ergonomically as possible, to give you more gigabytes of ram"
>for 30 seconds, pajeet waves this unholy creation around for the camera
>cuts to a shot of pajeets pc, it has almost exclusively Intel parts
>"time to fit amd ryzen"
>pajeet crunches the graphics card into a slot, making a horrible grinding noise
>he glues into onto the mother board, and miraculously, it hasn't fallen
>he slathers the thermal paste onto the entire cpu, dampening the indian flag taped to it
>"okay, now that I have installed ryzen and configured it properly, it's time to test it out!"

data recovery question/file transfer question:
while transferring a plain folder in Windows with a large number of files from one hard disk to another, the transfer was cut just short of completion (98%)
a large temporary file remains on the destination hard disk that is unopenable, i no longer have the source. is the data recoverable from this temporary file? surely some of the thousands of files are there somehow? but i dont know how OS like windows handles file transfers, so maybe not.
>>59387911
Use Linux to copy, that should work
>>59387911
macOS doesnt have this problem
>>59387932
can you elaborate? i dont have the source of the original files anymore, all i have to work with is this giant large temporary file from the failed transfer
is there any software that can dissect it into some of the original files that successfully transferred? or is that not how file transfers work in Windows?
