Should notifications just be banned? When was the last time that you got a decent notification? I'll get to it when I get to it thank you very much. Some Pajeets even use push notifications as ads now.
I have all notifications disabled except telegram, text and call.
I forget which apps I have at times too :^)
>>59854564
Give me a quick rundown on telegram vs. signal.
>>59854569
I only used signal for a bit. Telegram works better for me, is far more customizable as far as UI goes, and also it's easier to get people to switch because of how accessible it is and all the normie features like gif search built right into it.
Privacy wise, it's fine. You never truly know what's in the back end though.
Which build do you think performs better /g/?
Be honest
;^)

Post some sexy 2000s hardware.
Shuttle was the market leader in SFF PCs before the NUCs came out.
>>59854237
>something the size of a 1960's Samsonite makeup vanity travel case is "sff"
The Mac Mini is sff, this is a fucking hatbox.

Shuttle invented SFF.
Why are you not preordering the GPD pocket?
>7" inch laptop
>intel atom z8750 quad core
>8gb ram
>128gb emmc
>12 hour battery life
Their indiegogo campaign raised $2.7 million
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gpd-pocket-7-0-umpc-laptop-ubuntu-or-win-10-os-laptop--2#/
i have a phone and i have a laptop. this would serve no purpose that my phone and laptop can't serve
>>59854229
>12 hour battery life
yeah, i highly doubt that
My tablet has the same specs almost(4gb ram instead of 8gb) and the battery is drained in 3 hours
>preordering
>indiegogo
Oh look another garbage gimmick that will cost way too damn much, get delayed for years and when it finally comes out it will be the most underwhelming device ever
Nothing good has ever come out of Indiegogo, your little pet project isn't going to be the first.
"A broad array of Android phones are vulnerable to attacks that use booby-trapped Wi-Fi signals to achieve full device takeover."
https://arstechnica.com/security/2017/04/wide-range-of-android-phones-vulnerable-to-device-hijacks-over-wi-fi/
Why is it that phones are always so vulnerable? They are so important to everyday life and everyone carries one, yet they seem to be one of the most easily hacked and vulnerable pieces of technology. Is there a certain group that is purposely keeping these devices exploitable?
Because everyone is under the impression that they're invulnerable to attacks and flaws.
>>59854046
inb4 some macfag says iphones can't get hacked
All phones, even dumb phones, are being tracked
You can't win
We're so lucky to live in the U-S-of-A where we have so much competition in the ISP space!
>>59854017
You have:
>charter
>5-6 cell phone internet providers
>dsl over the land line
>probably fios
>certainly satellite internet
>likely several other non-cell band radio ISPs
Seriously, we've had this shit thread before. Boo hoo hoo, oh well, blah blah, you're too fucking lazy or poor to figure out what actual options you even have so you post the results from some lame web page.
KYS, you have more than 1/2 dozen options. Also it appears you're posting your garbage here somehow, how'd you manage that?
Fucking redditor.
>>59854017
Also KYS with your stupid Jewish web site which rips off grannies and lies.

I got Spectrum and Frontier here in SoCal. Used to have Verizon, but Frontier bought up all their contracts and is apparently really shitty out here according to my neighbors. I got 3/1 for $14.99 on Spectrum on a grandfather plan...
They offer 100/10 out here for $59.99...wish they had something like 20/10 for cheaper. I hardly use down at all but upload is nice for backing up.
what the FUCK is this layout?
what's the point of all that empty space on the left?
who designs this shit?
There's an arrow to expand it you fucktard
>>59853950
What's wrong with it? I'm not seeing any wasted space
>>59853991

Good job OP, working with pointers and understanding code on a basic level is always helpfull.
Also next time when you encounter some code like this you know how to understand it way faster.
What are the chances everything I've said on this site and other sites like Facebook are logged into a profile kinda like that scene from the matrix where agent smith has a whole file on Neo?
Anyone know to what degree info is collected on specific individuals?
100% if you're targeted, 99% if you're not
google recognizes patterns of websites visited and stuff even if you're not logged in. if i went to my brothers house across the country and surfed the internet there for like 20 minutes they would know that it's me based on my browsing habits
even if I don't use google search. all the sites use google analytics, including this one.
i'm certain that they know who I am too, because i pay for my internet and that is attached to my real name and address.
i'm not legally at risk but it would be pretty embarrassing if someone ever dialed up my comments and web searches.
If you're using mostly https sites, they wouldn't be able to know the content of your emails or posted content.
Basically they can only know what your ISP can know. Such as which IPs you connect from and which IPs you accessed. But not the content of your communications, if you're using mostly https sites.
And assuming the user is not accessing sites with untrusted certificates. Then a MitM attack can't see the content of your communication with a server.
Most sites have https now, btw.
