I have all notifications disabled except telegram, text and call.

I forget which apps I have at times too :^)

I only used signal for a bit. Telegram works better for me, is far more customizable as far as UI goes, and also it's easier to get people to switch because of how accessible it is and all the normie features like gif search built right into it.

Privacy wise, it's fine. You never truly know what's in the back end though.

Even in Priority mode with "Block visual disturbances" turned on motherfucker still gives me fucking icons in the panel hence DISTURBING me.

and

dom.push.connection.enabled

to false in about:config

there, no more push. ever.
